The mission of Friends of the Boundary Mountains is to safeguard the Boundary Mountains from development and to conserve the area for traditional uses of wildlife, recreation and forestry. The group formed in 1995 when the protected mountain tops were threatened by rezoning for wind power development.

The Missionary Society Of St. Columban

II) The Society works under the guidance of the Sacred Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples and under the leadership of the bishops. As such, the Internal Revenue Service recognizes us as a religious not-for-profit corporation, therefore contributions to our work are tax deductible.
