Voice for Asian Elephants Society

OUR VISION: Creating sustainable communities through caring for, and protecting endangered captive and wild Asian elephants. OUR MISSION Abolish elephant slavery by educating and enlightening people about the plight of captive and wild Asian elephants, protect them by mitigating human elephant conflicts in captivity and in the wild, and rehabilitate the captive ones in elephant havens where they can roam freely.

BARKA Foundation

Brewster Conservation Trust

(BCT) was established in 1983 as a non-profit charitable organization supported by memberships, donations, and grants. Our mission is to preserve open space, natural resources, and the rural character of Brewster and to promote a conservation ethic. BCT owns and has conservation restrictions on more than 200 parcels of land. By the end of 2022, BCT had protected more than 1,500 acres of environmentally important land.

Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy

The mission of the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy is to conserve the unique plant and animal habitat, clean water, farmland and scenic beauty and places for people to enjoy outdoor recreation in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee for the benefit of present and future generations. We achieve this by forging and maintaining long-term conservation relationships with private landowners, owning and managing land and encouraging strong, healthy local communities.

To provide and promote alternatives to individual car ownership, thereby reducing the environmental and social impacts associated with motor vehicle use. eGo CarShare is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit carsharing organization serving the Denver-Boulder metro area. Malama Kahalawai

Malama Kahalawai is dedicated to facilitating and advancing the goals of the West Maui Mountains Watershed Partnership, whose mission is to protect Maui's water supply and native ecosystems and prevent further degradation through collaborative forest management. Within the 50,000-acre management area of WMMWP are native forests that produce fresh water for three-quarters of Maui Island residents. The healthier these forests, the more water there is for Maui's future.

Lemon Bay Conservancy

Thlong-range vision is: “To forever protect and preserve the natural features of Lemon Bay, Charlotte Harbor, their surrounding waters and uplands, and vital fish and wildlife habitat, through property preservation, environmental education and advocacy for sustainable land and water conservation policies and practices.”To support that long-range vision, we focus our mission in three areas: Saving land;Environmental education; andAdvocacy for sustainable environmental policies.

Green Burial Association Of Maryland

The Green Burial Association of Maryland (GBAM) promotes environmentally sustainable Green Burial options throughout Maryland. We support this Mission through public education, promotion of and legislative advocacy for green and hybrid burial grounds, and promoting green practices throughout the funeral industry. We envision a future in which everyone has access to funeral and burial options that are environmentally sustainable and grounded in evidence-based information.
