The mission of Joshua's Tract Conservation and Historic Trust is to permanently protect and maintain the land and preserve the heritage of northeastern Connecticut for the benefit and well-being of present and future generations.

Mission: The Peconic Land Trust conserves Long Island's working farms, natural lands, and heritage for our communities now and in the future.Impact: The conservation of working farms, natural lands, and heritage is closely inter-connected to many benefits that are important to all us who know and love the area ~ fresh local produce, miles of hiking trails, clean and productive bays and wetlands, drinking water protection, strong local economy, healthy ecosystems, storm water protection and buffer against effects of climate change, free public garden, historic preservation, lower property taxes (because of undeveloped land), and continued enjoyment of this unique region for generations to come.

IDENTIFYING AND ELIMINATING ENVIRONMENTAL THREATS TO HEMPSTEAD HARBOR AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES.

GCRA is a coalition of volunteer scientists, divers, environmentalists and other individuals and organizations, committed to coral reef preservation. We primarily focus on coral reef restoration, marine diseases and other issues caused by global climate change, environmental stress and pollution.

The Mission of Bedford Audubon Society is to promote conservation  and protection of wildlife habitats in northern Westchester and eastern Putnam counties through education, advocacy, nature study and birdwatching.

Tenafly Nature Center is a non-profit, independent, member-supported nature preserve located in Bergen County, New Jersey. Since 1961, TNC has nurtured an appreciation for nature, been a leader in open-space preservation and environmental education for our community and beyond. Our mission is the stewardship of nearly 400 wooded acres for the purposes of conservation, education, recreation, and community engagement.
