Barnstable Land Trust

Barnstable Land Trust is a non-profit, member-supported conservation and land preservation organization. We acquire open space to protect the natural resources of the Town of Barnstable. BLT holds wildlife habitat, scenic views, wetlands, woodlands, sensitive watershed parcels, forest and other valuable open space in its natural state for the benefit of the community. Founded in 1983, BLT provides a private alternative for land preservation. As of May 2017, BLT has completed 156 land-saving initiatives and preserved 1,082 acres.

Texas Land Trust Council

The mission of the Texas Land Trust Council is to support and strengthen the land trust community to serve as a powerful voice for land and water conservation in Texas. TLTC seeks to advance and sustain land conservation throughout the state, providing programs and initiatives that ensure the continued strength and success of the conservation movement. To date, land trusts have helped to conserve over 1.75 million acres of farms, ranches, wildlife habitat, water resources, and natural areas across the great state of Texas. TLTC is proud to support this effort.

Norwalk River Watershed Association

The Norwalk River Watershed Association, incorporated in 1996, is a not-for-profit membership organization whose mission is to improve the water quality and fish and wildlife habitats of the 40,000-acre Norwalk River watershed; to restore the riverbanks, meadows and forests through invasive plant abatement and promotion of native species; to encourage recreational use of the river, the surrounding open space and its trails; and to promote research, legislative advocacy, education, cooperation, and action on the part of the stakeholders in the seven watershed towns in Fairfield County, CT (Ridgefield, Redding, Wilton, New Canaan, Weston, and Norwalk) and NY (Lewisboro).

Association For The Preservation Of The Eno River Valley

The Eno River Association is an accredited 501(c)3 non-profit land trust that protects the natural, cultural and historic resources of the Eno River basin in northern Durham and Orange counties. We have been instrumental in creating five public parks: Eno River State Park, Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area, West Point on the Eno Durham City Park, Penny’s Bend Nature Preserve, and the Little River Regional Park. We continue to acquire land and secure easements for recreation and to protect water quality, wildlife, farms, and forests.
