The mission of the Pacific Crest Trail Association is to protect, preserve and promote the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail as a world-class experience for hikers and equestrians, and for all the values provided by wild and scenic lands.

Our association is honored to serve as stewards and promoters of the Superior Hiking Trail, a 300-mile trail alongside Lake Superior in northern Minnesota. The SHT is a resource for everyone, where individuals discover, learn and connect with nature, themselves and each other.

The Mystic River Watershed is a living system full of fish and wildlife—including one of the largest river herring migration in the Commonwealth. The watershed includes thousands of acres of open space and parks along the river that offer countless recreational opportunities. The Mystic River Watershed Association uses science, advocacy, and education to ensure a vibrant, healthy, and resilient environment.

The Ipswich River has been named one of the most endangered in the nation due to extreme low-flow conditions. The Ipswich River Watershed Association (IRWA) serves as the voice of the Ipswich River and its watershed. We work to ensure ecological integrity, healthy fisheries, adequate stream flows, clean water, reliable drinking water supplies, and outstanding recreational opportunities for the region. IRWA is dedicated to using sound science and management tools to balance human uses of the river with ecosystem needs.

The Norwalk River Watershed Association, incorporated in 1996, is a not-for-profit membership organization whose mission is to improve the water quality and fish and wildlife habitats of the 40,000-acre Norwalk River watershed; to restore the riverbanks, meadows and forests through invasive plant abatement and promotion of native species; to encourage recreational use of the river, the surrounding open space and its trails; and to promote research, legislative advocacy, education, cooperation, and action on the part of the stakeholders in the seven watershed towns in Fairfield County, CT (Ridgefield, Redding, Wilton, New Canaan, Weston, and Norwalk) and NY (Lewisboro).

We strive to build & strengthen the capacity of the communities and empower the people particularly poor, marginalized and excluded to address their development needs through integration and coordination at local, provincial and national level. Objectives: 1. Conflict Resolution and Promotion of Peace & tolerance in the society 2. To work for Climate Resilient society Approach: A participatory approach is followed towards socio- economic and political development of communities. Local knowledge and wisdom is on priority basis and sense of ownership is promoted among the target communities. The BLCA's mission is to protect, restore and improve the water quality of Third Burden Lake and related water bodies, creating and nurturing a community of lake stewards and educating lake users and the general public on safety and water protection.

GOSA is interested in conservation, environmental preservation, open space, and providing passive recreational areas in Southeastern Connecticut. Organization also is active in educating the public about the value of open space, conservation, and environmental preservation. The organization enlists public support and funding to promote, acquire, or maintain open space for public use.

Tenafly Nature Center is a non-profit, independent, member-supported nature preserve located in Bergen County, New Jersey. Since 1961, TNC has nurtured an appreciation for nature, been a leader in open-space preservation and environmental education for our community and beyond. Our mission is the stewardship of nearly 400 wooded acres for the purposes of conservation, education, recreation, and community engagement. Our vision is to create a community that feels a strong connection to the natural world and actively partners with us to promote the highest level of biodiversity possible for our natural areas.
