Ecotrust's mission is to inspire fresh thinking that creates economic opportunity, social equity, and environmental well-being. Our goal is to foster a natural model of development that creates more resilient communities, economies, and ecosystems here and around the world.

Mighty Earth (www.mightyearth.org) is a global advocacy organization working to defend a living planet. Our goal is to protect half of Earth for Nature and secure a climate that allows life to flourish. Mighty Earth achieves transformative change by creating a “perfect storm” of campaigns, communications, and practical engagement with decision-makers that can rapidly transform whole industries and government policy. Our recent work has focused significantly on the private sector, because too many governments around the world have abdicated their responsibility for climate action and broader environmental protection.

To pragmatically facilitate the provision of quality health, quality education for children, skill acquisition and training for Women and Young Girls, complemented with life-enhancing infrastructures and social amenities towards improved lifestyles for the Less Privileged in sub-urban and Rural Communities.

The Advocacy Project - A Voice for the Voiceless The Advocacy Project (AP) helps marginalized communities around the world take action against the root causes of their disempowerment in a way that benefits society as a whole and produces social change. To do this, we partner with community-based advocates who represent these communities and share their problems. Our support for partners is innovative and effective. First, we deploy Peace Fellows (experienced graduate students) to help partners tell their story, launch campaigns, and strengthen their organization: we have deployed 274 Peace Fellows since 2003, and in the process given our Fellows a unique experience. Second, we help partners to raise funds and manage their campaigns: we have raised over $2.5 million for partners, and are currently seeking funds through Global Giving for exciting projects in Nepal, Vietnam and Uganda. Third, we promote the work of partners internationally, using new methods of story-telling such as advocacy quilting: over 300 women have produced embroidered panels for our quilts, which have been shown throughout North America and Europe. To provide financial and staffing support to the Nisqually River Council as it implements the Nisqually Watershed Stewardship Plan. The mission of the Nisqually River Council is to create sustainability in the Nisqually Watershed for current and future generations by developing a common culture of environmental, social, and economic balance.

For more than 40 years, Friends of the Earth has been the leader in aggressively confronting the root causes of climate change, in stopping wasteful government handouts to polluting industries, and in stemming damaging corporate exploitation that places profit above human and environmental wellbeing. Friends of the Earth promotes clean and sustainable energy, fair solutions to the climate crisis, responsible use of technology, and protection of the earth’s natural treasures.

Nashville Zoo's mission is to inspire a culture of understanding and discovery of our natural world through conservation, innovation and leadership. Utilizing diverse learning opportunities, the Zoo’s overall conservation and education message is to provide visitors of all ages a better understanding of and connection with the natural world. We strive to inspire and empower positive attitudes to affect change for the better. Conservation is a critical part of Nashville Zoo’s mission. Through our Wild Works Global Conservation initiatives we are actively involved in research, habitat protection, breeding programs and education initiatives around the globe as well as in our own backyard.

To achieve the better livelihood of the rural population of different sections of the community through initiation of environmental conservation, social justice as well as innovative environmental friendly sustainable development activities. We combat the water crisis through collaboration with mission-aligned organizations and sponsors as we raise social consciousness about the water crisis, create new strategies to promote water sustainability, and install cost-efficient water treatment solutions to affected regions across the world.

Our mission is to aid and support children suffering from poverty, sickness, lack of education or who have experienced physical or moral violence, by offering them the opportunity and the hope of a new life. It is an independent, lay organisation and is also designated an ONLUS (Non-profit organisation of social value). It operates without discrimination of culture, ethnicity and religion and upholds the United Nations rights of the child. The Foundation works around the world and is closest to the weakest and most neglected children offering them food, medicine, health care, education and programmes for social reintegration. In pursuing its goal, Mission Bambini is inspired by the following values: freedom, justice, truth, respect for others and solidarity.
