Oceanites is the only NGO championing science-based conservation for the 53 signatory countries of the Antarctic Treaty system and international awareness of climate change through the lens of Antarctic penguins. Our institutional memory, scientific expertise, and unique ability to translate complicated science into easily digested take-home messages uniquely position us to positively shape public awareness of climate change. The message Oceanites and its principals take forward is that our future depends on whether we, like penguins, will adapt and still have a decent home, food to eat, and good health, and continue to produce children for generations to come.

Our Mission: Transforming global expectations of health through water and energy. We’ve all heard about green energy and protecting our planet’s natural resources for the better part of five decades. Ecosystems in crisis make headline news almost every day. The environmental movement has changed laws and raised awareness about the crumbling infrastructure in developed countries around the world. No one should go without access to fresh, potable water or without access to basic utilities. WaveWell is moving from green to blue energy alongside our partners to provide water and energy security across the globe.

Since 1997, the Kasiisi Project has aided education in and around Kibale National Park in rural western Uganda, East Africa. Founded initially as a link between the research-based Kibale Chimpanzee Project and the local community, the Kasiisi Project now works with several research groups in and around the park to target critical issues for the survival of the forest and support of the local population. We support early childhood education, promote conservation and health education, provide daily school lunches, train teachers, encourage literacy through libraries and computer usage, fund secondary school and college scholarships, and address the special needs of girls.

Because whales and dolphins play a critical ecological role, our mission is to ensure whale and dolphin populations survive and thrive as key contributors to the health of our shared planet. Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) is the leading global charity dedicated to the conservation and protection of whales and dolphins. Our vision of a world where every whale and dolphin is safe and free is not a noble gesture, but a necessary goal for a healthy planet on which humans and wildlife can survive and thrive. We defend these remarkable creatures against the many threats they face through campaigns, lobbying, advising governments, conservation projects, field research and rescue.

Indiana Forest Alliance (IFA) is a non-profit, statewide organization of individuals dedicated to the long-term health and well-being of Indiana’s native forests. We are volunteers and full-time staff working to protect and restore Indiana’s forests. IFA serves citizens, organizations, landowners and communities with a wide range of interests in Indiana’s forests. We provide accurate information to the people of Indiana to involve them in efforts to protect Indiana’s forests and ensure their opportunities for input into decision-making that affects forests. We speak out for the native animals, plants and other creatures who survive in Indiana’s forests and cannot speak for themselves.

“To protect and enhance the health of the salt ponds for the benefit of wildlife and people.” Our mission includes educating the residents of the salt ponds region about the salt ponds' value to the economy, and how residents can contribute to the well-being of the resource. SPC also acts as a conduit between the residents of the coastal communities and state and local governments for the flow of information vital to the survival of the salt ponds and their environs. SPC works to implement programs which enhance the environment of the salt ponds and contribute to their protection, preservation, and economic well-being. Finally, we network with other organizations to make our ecological experience available to residents of other New England coastal areas with similar needs.

Vision: A healthy & thriving Severn River for present and future generations.Mission: We engage the local community with the Severn River and its tributaries through advocacy, education and restoration.Our programs focus areas:ADVOCATE – to build a broader and more diverse community of stewards to meet the growing needs of an expanding population, while conserving the Severn River’s health. EDUCATE - learners of all ages about one of the most biodiverse tracts of land, rivers, and trails, in the country, the Scenic Severn River and its watershed. RESTORE – Mother Nature’s water treatment plants – oysters and underwater grasses. With volunteers and partners we are re-establishing the processes necessary to support our River’s natural habitat.

Our mission is to aid and support children suffering from poverty, sickness, lack of education or who have experienced physical or moral violence, by offering them the opportunity and the hope of a new life. It is an independent, lay organisation and is also designated an ONLUS (Non-profit organisation of social value). It operates without discrimination of culture, ethnicity and religion and upholds the United Nations rights of the child. The Foundation works around the world and is closest to the weakest and most neglected children offering them food, medicine, health care, education and programmes for social reintegration. Charity Centre for Children and Youth Development exists to supporting HIV/AIDS education, Persons living with disabilities, orphans and vulnerable children, youth and women in Solwezi district of Zambia by providing them with, educational support (provision of school requisites and literacy materials), health and life skills and vocational Training. These enables disadvantaged members of our society live life of independence and contribute to the national economy. Founded in 2007, Grounded invests in people and the places they live to improve the social, economic, and environmental health of communities from within. We mobilize residents, policy-makers, and like-minded organizations to ensure communities have the resources, knowledge, tools, and partners to reclaim and activate vacant land in the places they live, work, and play. We envision a region of thriving communities- working together to sustain equitable change. We believe lasting and impactful change happens when people have the tools to work towards creating safe, green, resilient and livable spaces.
