Wild Utah Project provides science-based strategies for wildlife and land conservation

Founded in 1991, the Southwest Environmental Center (SWEC) works to restore and protect native wildlife and their habitats in the southwestern borderlands through public education, grassroots advocacy and on-the-ground restoration projects. We have 4 staff members (3 full-time and 1 part-time), 2 work studies through NMSU and a large cadre of motivated volunteers.

The Santa Fe Conservation Trust partners with our community to keep northern New Mexico’s living lands and people flourishing together. We protect culturally and environmentally significant landscapes, ignite people’s passion for nature and enable the continual regeneration of our healthy place.
