Our mission at the Alliance for the Great Lakes is to conserve and restore the world's largest freshwater resource using policy, education and local efforts, ensuring a healthy Great Lakes and clean water for generations of people and wildlife.

The mission of the Lloyd Center is to instill a life-long respect and affection for nature in citizens of all ages through research and education; to advance a scientific and public understanding of our coastal ecosystems and the need to protect them; and to promote a legacy of natural diversity largely in, but not restricted to, the coastal environments of southeastern New England.

Our mission is to create a better future for the San Diego River through volunteerism, advocacy, education, and championing the creation of a river-long park system.We are a San Diego based 501c3 nonprofit that started as an all volunteer group and remain grounded in engaging people through volunteerism. Before the pandemic, we engaged more than 7000 volunteers. We believe in targeting our programs to make a meaningful impact for the river, its ecosystem and San Diego. To improve and; maintain the ecological health of the Poudre River watershed through community collaboration.

We are citizen stewards of the James River Park.  We do this by providing ongoing support for conservation, enhancement, and recreational enjoyment of the James River Park System, while protecting its natural and historic environments.

We work to preserve, protect and enhance an environment that is livable, healthful and sustainable through a comprehensive program of education, citizen action and legal defense.

Through advocacy and education, Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness works to protect, preserve, and restore the wilderness character of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Quetico-Superior ecosystem. Our vision for the future of this national treasure lies at the intersection of people, communities and wilderness.

The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to drive bold, science-based action to sustain a dynamic coastal Louisiana through engagement and advocacy. Recognizing that Louisiana’s coastal land-loss will have dramatic impacts on the nation’s energy, navigation and fisheries interests, CRCL works at the state, local and federal level to ensure that restoring and protecting coastal Louisiana is a top priority for our state and the nation. We facilitate and fund actual restoration projects and we work diligently to raise awareness and educate others about the importance of preserving and restoring coastal Louisiana.
