Money raised through the Coronavirus Relief Fund will be split evenly amongst CDC Foundation, International Medical Corps and Direct Relief to support first responders & medical professionals working on the coronavirus globally. Donating to Kidsave gives older, forgotten orphans and foster kids a chance at finding a family. These kids are often hidden from view with little or no opportunity to meet people who might adopt or mentor them. Thanks to George and Kathryn Hicker every unrestricted gift – whether it’s a monthly sponsorship, tribute ad or straight donation will be matched up to $100,000. Kidsave advocates for permanent, safe and stable families for all children and gives kids growing up in foster care and orphanages summer or weekend visits with host families who get to know the child and team with Kidsave to help that child find a family. When people meet these remarkable children the vast majority of children are adopted or connected with a committed mentor.
