TO ENSURE THAT SEVERELY WOUNDED VETERANS RECEIVE ASSISTANCE IN HEALING, A RETURN TO NORMALCY AND AN INDEPENDENT LIFESTYLE. WE ARE ESTABLISHED TO ADDRESS THE GREAT NEED FOR RESOURCES TO SUPPORT VETERANS WHO SUSTAINED CATASTROPHIC INJURIES WHILE DEFENDING OUR FREEDOM.

The National Veterans Foundation (NVF) was founded in 1985 to help veterans streamline the process of accessing help for the myriad of needs they face, and to help broaden public understanding of these needs--including crisis/PTSD counseling, medical treatment, legal aid, VA benefits assistance, food, shelter, education, employment training, homelessness services, and substance abuse treatment. The NVF operates the Nation's only live, toll-free crisis management, information, and referral helpline (1-888-777-4443; vetsupport@nvf.org) for all veterans and their families; coordinates Public Awareness Programs designed to increase awareness and understanding about the effects of war and human needs of Americas veterans; and conducts ongoing outreach programs that provide veterans and families in need with food, clothing, transportation, employment, and other essential resources.

The mission of the American Brain Tumor Association is to advance the understanding and treatment of brain tumors with the goals of improving, extending and, ultimately, saving the lives of those impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis. We do this through interactions and engagements with brain tumor patients and their families, collaborations with allied groups and organizations, and the funding of brain tumor research.

The mission of SAPA is to develop and maintain a strong and dynamic professionalsociety that:(1) Supports the advancement of its Members.(2) Responsive to the needs of its Members’ communities within the United States and Sudan.(3) Aids in fulfilling its Member’s philanthropic endeavors within the United States and Sudan.

A Veteran’s Best Friend is a Christian nonprofit that provides and trains service dogs for Veterans of all faiths with PTSD, at no cost to the Veteran. We were founded in 2012 by a PTSD therapist and a dog trainer who saw a need to train and match service dogs with Veterans with PTSD - without a lengthy waiting list and without requiring the Veteran to pay between $20,000-30,000. We are a volunteer-based organization that adopts its dogs from local shelters, rescues, and our community. As of April 2022, we have certified over 50 Veteran/Service Dog teams since our beginning!

To help veterans and military families cope with post traumatic stress distorder (PTSD) and other service related stresses through collaborative filmmaking workshops designed to reduce PTS symptoms, promote engagement with family and community, and help facilitate successful transition back into civilian life.
