The mission of George Mark Children's House is to provide the highest quality of care and to minimize suffering by addressing the physical, emotional and psychosocial needs of the entire family. George Mark serves all medically eligible children regardless of geographical location. The majority of our patients are from California, with many residing in the San Francisco Bay Area

Consistent with the vision of their founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay. St. Jude’s strives to be the world leader in advancing the treatment and prevention of catastrophic diseases in children, by providing outstanding patient care; conducting basic, translational and clinical research designed to elucidate biological mechanisms, understand disease pathogenesis, improve diagnosis, enhance treatment outcome, prevent diseases and minimize adverse consequences of treatment; and by educating health care and scientific research professionals. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.

Founded in 1988, the Howard Hanna Children's Free Care Fund raises money through annual "Chow Chow" events for children's free care funds at local children's hospitals and related programs/activities. Children's Miracle Network saves the lives of children by raising funds and awareness for children's hospitals and foundations throughout the world. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion—most of it $1 at a time—for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada, which, in turn, use the money where it’s needed the most. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

The Foundation's mission is to raise funds to support the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes in Denver where over 6000 children and adults from around the world currently receive the finest care available.

The Children's Tumor Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to finding effective treatments for the millions of people worldwide living with neurofibromatosis (NF), a term for three distinct disorders: NF1, NF2, and schwannomatosis.  NF causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body and can lead to blindness, bone abnormalities, cancer, deafness, disfigurement, learning disabilities, and excruciating and disabling pain.   NF affects one in every 3,000 people, more than cystic fibrosis, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and Huntington’s disease combined.  The Children’s Tumor Foundation funds critical research into neurofibromatosis.  In addition to benefiting those who live with NF, this research is shedding new light on several forms of cancer, brain tumors, bone abnormalities, and learning disabilities, ultimately benefiting the broader community.
