Furthermore, to promote community development, denouncing the situation in which the most excluded communities live. And lastly, to advocate for social policies with other actors in society. VALUES: Solidarity. It is an empathy with the most excluded families, which moves us to want to be and work alongside with them. Sharing their hardships and desires, to learn from their skills and perseverance, and to advocate against everything that excludes them and that does not recognize their rights as human beings. Conviction. To overcome poverty and injustice in our continent is possible. This certainty gives us the determination to work tirelessly and together with others to accomplish it. Placing challenging and high goals, as well as taking the necessary risks to go beyond all the fatalisms that surround us. Excellence. All of our work must be of high quality, given that it is intended for those less fortunate. Our work is rigorous, punctual, always creative and innovative. It is respectful of the commitments, perseverant in the face of difficulties, intelligent to recognize mistakes and correct them, and proactive in the search for solutions to the problems that arise along the way. The Hero Foundation supplies financial support for Michigan families battling cancer.

Isha Foundation is a non-profit corporation established in the USA and a charitable trust founded by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev in India in 1992. The foundation serves as an educator, catalyst and resource for yoga science and natural health. Isha Foundation conducts various public welfare programs to advance physical, mental and spiritual development through the intergration of body mind and spirit. The foundation improves the quality of life for the impoverished through humanitarian and social outreach programs such as "Action for Rural Rejuvination," medical and disaster relief for the poor, student scholarships for destitute children and prison yoga programs entitled "Inner Freedom for the Imprisoned". A significant amount of the foundation's efforts involve Mobile Health Clinics for rural villages in India and facilitating Yoga Programs to help individuals regain health, find peace within and become responsible to the world around them. Through humanitarian programs and other advanced yoga programs, Isha Foundation provides the potential and process for individual transformation, helping to establish a peaceful and prosperous global society.

The ultimate goal of the Foundation is nothing less than to enable humans to live longer, better, and wiser, by defeating age-related disease and suffering. Supported through the private donations of individuals and organizations that share this common vision, the Foundation has become an agent of change, replacing resignation toward the suffering of aging with a new understanding of what is possible. By including a full range of near, mid, and long-term strategies within the scope of its vision, the Methuselah Foundation expects to return powerful and measurable results to its supporters within timeframes that are meaningful to them both as individuals and to society at large.
