Deborah Hospital Foundation's Mission Statement To provide substantial funding to support the highest quality of patient care by Deborah Heart and Lung Center, to provide treatment of children with congenital heart disease in the United States and around the world; and to provide for clinical research for cardiac, pulmonary and vascular diseases by fostering and maintaining the Foundation’s grassroots volunteer movement, its alliances with corporations, labor organizations, service organizations, foundations, and others and by its initiation and enhancement of planned giving programs and other fundraising activities. In partnership with the Center, the Foundation will continue to heighten awareness of the name of Deborah and its unique healthcare and fundraising activities to serve more people without distinction as to race, gender, sexual preference, creed, color, religion, age, national origin handicap, or ability to pay.
The Glenn Garcelon Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization which exists to improve the quality of life of brain tumor survivors, caregivers and their families by providing emotional and financial support. The Glenn Garcelon Foundation awards grants to help with expenses (medical and otherwise) that are beyond their means. The goal is to ease some of the financial burden that often adds to the stress of a brain tumor diagnosis and treatment. GGF is one of few charitable foundations that provides financial assistance directly to brain tumor patients. GGF is an all-volunteer, grass roots organization with no paid staff.
Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Foundation is a fundraising organization dedicated to improving health care services for the residents of Muskoka and East Parry Sound. The Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Foundation was established as a registered charity in 1984 to receive, maintain and distribute funds raised by personal donations, grants, capital projects and special event fundraising, and special programs not covered by government grants. Although the Foundation does not contribute to operating costs, its mandate is to provide ongoing capital and education resources for Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare - Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.
