The National Scleroderma Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1998 to advance medical research, promote disease awareness, and provide support and education to people with scleroderma, their families and support networks. The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded in 1993 by ESPN and the late Jim Valvano, legendary North Carolina State University basketball coach, and ESPN commentator. The American Brain Foundation supports vital research and education to discover causes, improved treatments, and cures for brain and other nervous system diseases.  

Founded in 2000 by brothers Albert Rose and Michael Rosenzweig, PhD, the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to identifying effective PF treatments and assisting those living with the disease. The brothers experienced firsthand the devastating effects of PF when their sister claire passed away from the disease. Both brothers were also diagnosed with PF, and it was their vision and dedication that led to the creation of the foundation.
