The Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR) is a national nonprofit and thought leader advancing women’s health through science, policy, and education while promoting research on sex differences to optimize women’s health. Founded in 1990, SWHR is making women’s health mainstream by addressing unmet needs and research gaps in women’s health. The success of SWHR’s science and policy programs is grounded in our ability to convene and leverage the knowledge of our interdisciplinary networks – diverse groups of researchers, clinicians, patient advocates, policy professionals, and other health care leaders with expertise related to specific diseases, conditions, or health topics that either exclusively, differently, or disproportionately affect women. Helen Keller Services for the Blind enables individuals who are blind, visually-impaired, deaf-blind and/or have combined hearing-vision loss to live, work and thrive in their community of choice.

The mission of the Circle of Friends for the Dying is to bring compassionate, competent end-of-life care to the dying and their families. The mission is achieved by providing a circle of support for individuals (and their families) with a prognosis of three months or less. Circle of Friends for the Dying will oversee the establishment and maintenance of a home-like residence for the terminally ill, with an emphasis on comfort and quality-of-life. Our home becomes the primary residence for individuals who can no longer safely remain in their own home or who prefer an alternative to spending one's last days in a nursing home or hospital setting.
