Advancing the mission of Hoag through meaningful and inspirational philanthropic partnerships

CLARE provides services to all those seeking recovery from alcoholism and substance abuse. Eleven programs in four Los Angeles-area locations meet the recovery needs of individuals, families and the community through a culturally sensitive, individualized, outcomes-oriented, "whole" person model of care. Programs are based on over 30 years of experience with Social Model treatment and the 12-step program developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. CLARE believes that recovery involves individual effort, the non-judgmental support of others and a clean, secure and sober environment.

To improve the human experience in healthcare communities by honoring the work of exceptional caregivers. This results in not only an enjoyable patient experience, but better quality of care for patients, residents, and families. The Ceca Award Program serves as a network for healthcare communities to demonstrate their commitment to core caregiving values, while ensuring staff are engaged and feel appreciated. DEDICATED TO PROVIDING FREE RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY AND EYE SURGERY TO PEOPLE IN DEVELOPING NATIONS. We are a small, yet dynamic, group who provide plastic reconstructive surgery and eye surgery, to people in developing nations. Our patients are extremely poor, many living on less than $1.00 per day. That is a difficult fact for Americans to grasp, yet it is true. Further, they do not have access to plastic reconstructive surgery or eye surgery. Children born with birth defects or who suffer from traumatic injuries have no hope without our help.
