Maine Cancer Foundation is dedicated to reducing cancer incidence and mortality rates in Maine. 100% of the funds raised are used to benefit the people of Maine. We lead a state-wide effort to advance the most promising and effective cancer-fighting tools available, through a combination of grant-based financial support and coalition building. We invest in prevention to stop cancer before it starts, early detection to find cancer when it is treatable and beatable, and access to the best possible care regardless of income or geography.

One Breath Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit corporation Mission Statement is to assist and support those who have been diagnosed with a terminal lung and or other organ disease. We provide post transplant housing, help with medical and prescription copays, help with medical equipment, help with basic essentials, food and fuel cards to those with restricted incomes. We also have monthly support zoom meetings to assist our patients, caregivers and their family to prepare them for their journeys.

Helping people achieve their own personal victory.Victoria's Victory Foundation is a quality of life organization focused on education, awareness and assistance for those living with mobility challenges and disabilities.VVF brings HOPE to those faced with the daily obstacles and isolation that can result from mobility challenges and disabilities. The Victory Program offers education, awareness and victory scholarships.Through the Victory Scholarship program those in need can apply for assistance with mobility equipment, home & vehicle modifications, in-home care and recovery training sessions.

Hunter’s Hope Foundation was established to address the acute need for information and research with respect to Krabbe Disease and related Leukodystrophies. In addition, we strive to support and encourage those afflicted and their families as they struggle to endure, adjust and cope with the demands of these fatal illnesses. Accordingly, our mission is four-fold: • To broaden public awareness of Krabbe Disease & other Leukodystrophies thus increasing the probability of early detection &treatment.• To gather and provide current, functional information and service linkages to families of children with Leukodystrophies.• To fund research efforts that will identify new treatments, therapies and ultimately, a cure for Krabbe Disease and other Leukodystrophies.• To establish an alliance of hope that will nourish, affirm and confront the urgent need for medical, financial and emotional support of family members and those afflicted with Leukodystrophies.Among the essential goals, founders Jim and Jill Kelly, seek to inspire an appreciation of all children and express a thankful heart towards God for these precious gifts of life. Since it was established in 1989, Beebe Medical Foundation has been raising money to help fulfill Beebe Healthcare's not-for-profit charitable mission, which is to encourage healthy living, prevent illness, and restore optimal health to the people residing, working, or visiting the communities it serves. As an independent, not-for-profit hospital, Beebe Healthcare could not serve our growing community without local philanthropy. Beebe Healthcare remains an independent community health system with a vision of making Sussex County one of the healthiest counties in the nation.

The Cystinosis Research Foundation is dedicated to finding better treatments to improve the quality of life for those with cystinosis and to ultimately find a cure for this devastating disease.CRF is committed to finding a cure through an aggressively funded research agenda. CRF issues research grants bi-annually to accelerate the research process and to ensure that there is never a gap in funding new cutting-edge research ideas. Through her courage, positive attitude, kindness and concern for others, Margaux Grossman left a lasting impression on her friends in a brief but beautiful life. Margaux’s Miracle Foundation was created in the memory of Margaux Renee Grossman, by her closest friends to raise awareness of childhood cancers through various community service projects. Through fundraising efforts, we have now expanded to endow a full time research fellowship named in Margaux’s memory at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City where she was treated.

International Eye Foundation is dedicated to helping people see! Since 1961 IEF has taken up the challenge in poor countries around the world, helping to restore sight and prevent blindness. IEF offers strong new strategic directions that focus on making eye clinics financially self sufficient. IEFs achievements include developing eye health services, training ophthalmologists and para-medicals, and fighting vitamin A deficiency, trachoma and river blindness. IEF is now strengthening the management, quality of service, and income generating activities so that eye clinics are less dependent on outside donors and government funds.
