The Arkana Alliance is committed to raising awareness about the current environmental and social crises in the Amazon; supporting the creation, connection and strengthening of strategic networks and regional and community-based alliances; and inspiring positive change at local, national and international levels to protect and preserve the people, environment, and ancient traditions of the Amazon Rainforest.

Breaking Free is a Minnesota-based non-profit and social justice/social change organization founded in 1996 by Vednita Carter. Every year, Breaking Free helps over 500 women escape systems of prostitution and sexual exploitation through advocacy, direct services, housing, and education. Our main offices are located in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a branch in Minneapolis. Breaking Free's doors are open to women throughout Minnesota and the United States.

SCOEN strives to create a future in which all Ugandan women will be viewed and treated equally as men in all aspects of life; political, economic, social, educational and culturally. We will also seek to continue our role as advocates of children and women's rights, promoter of their capacities and driving force of social change, promoting their participation in the decisions that affect their lives, and amplifying their voices for peace and security at the regional, national and global levels.

Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC) is committed to ending domestic violence. Using a self-help, empowerment approach, we provide a shelter for adults and children, counseling, advocacy, and a 24-hour hotline for people affected by domestic violence. We work for social change through education, service collaboration, and institutional advocacy.

Pomoc deci (Children and Youth Support Organisation) creates an environment of hope and respect for children and youth, where they have opportunities to achieve their full potential, and provides children, youth, parents and communities with practical tools for positive change. The Heroic Imagination Project (HIP) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that teaches people how to take effective action in challenging situations. At HIP, we translate the extensive research findings of social psychology and related fields into meaningful insights and tools that individuals can use in their everyday lives to transform negative situations and create positive change.

The Mission of the Spina Bifida Wisconsin, Ltd is to enhance the lives of Wisconsin families affected by Spina Bifida by providing resources, peer support and social events in our community. We strive to raise other's awareness about the unique needs of people with Spina Bifida. We are ambassadors, peers and educators changing the lives of those we serve.

To promote social change by providing services which empower battered and abused individuals and their dependent children, of all abilities, to achieve safe, violence-free lives; to partner with the community by providing information and education geared toward the elimination of domestic violence, the achievement of peace in relationships, establishment of a system to hold perpetrators accountable and provide a safe work environment.
