The Knights & Orchids Society Inc. (TKO Society)

The Knights and Orchids Society (TKO) envisions a future where Transgender, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Gay (TLBG) Black people are empowered to live full and healthy lives free from harm. Our mission is to build the power of TQBLG Black people across the south by providing a spectrum of health and wellness services designed to address the social determinants of health that negatively impact our communities. Since 2019, we have provided 258 clients with services through our primary program Fast, Affirming, Innovative Testing and Healthcare or FAITH.

The Valley Hospital Foundation

The Valley Hospital Foundation is the philanthropic component of Valley Health System. It is a nonprofit, tax-exempt, multi-purpose foundation. The Foundation's primary function is to secure charitable contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and others, to manage those gifts, and to distribute them in accordance with its charter. Funds are raised primarily for use by The Valley Hospital and Valley Home Care, Inc. Valley Health System is the sole member of the corporation.

The Cute Syndrome Foundation

The Cute Syndrome Foundation raises awareness of SCN8A mutations, funds the dedicated and talented scientists researching SCN8A, and supports the families around the world who are affected by this disorder. The Cute Syndrome Foundation also has a history of funding PCDH19 research.The Cute Syndrome Foundation is the starting point for support for new families to reach as they receive a diagnosis. We help clinicians standardize treatment for individuals with SCN8A. We work to expand scientific knowledge of rare genetic mutations associated with pediatric epilepsy and remain the mainstay foundation to increase public knowledge of SCN8A mutations as well as rare genetic mutations and pediatric epilepsies.

The Terry Fox Foundation
