Since 1909, Mental Health America of Illinois (MHAI) has worked to promote mental health, prevent mental illnesses and improve the care and treatment of persons suffering from mental and emotional disorders. Our three main focus areas are to educate, to advocate and to inform.

Mental Health America of Wisconsin (MHA) is an affiliate of the nation’s leading community-based non-profit dedicated to helping all Americans achieve wellness by living mentally healthier lives. Our work is driven by our commitment to promote mental health as a critical part of overall wellness, including:• Prevention services for all• Early identification and intervention for those at risk• Integrated care and treatment for those who need it• Recovery as the goal

The mission statement of the agency reads, "Based on the teachings of Christ, Children's Foundation of Mid-America provides compassionate and therapeutic social, psychological and educational services to children and families of all faiths." In response to the needs of hurting children and their families, it is our intention to continue to be creative in serving the needs of children who have been neglected or abused, or who are at risk. Children's Foundation wants to enable each child to become a strong contributing member of our society.

CWLA will lead the nation in building public will to ensure safety, permanence, and well-being of children, youth, and their families by advancing public policy, defining and promoting practice excellence and delivering superior membership services. CWLA challenges Americans to make children a national priority. Our mission is to engage people everywhere in promoting the well-being of children, youth, and their families, and protecting every child from harm. We envision a future in which families, neighborhoods, communities, organizations, and governments ensure that five universal needs of children are met. They include (1) basics such as food, shelter, education, and health care, (2) nurturing relationships, (3) opportunities for optimal development, (4) protection from harm, (5) and healing from harm if it occurs.

The specific purpose of UCFA is to contribute the organization's proceeds from charitable donations and fundraising activities to support financially distressed individuals and provide scholarships to individuals affected by ulcerative colitis. They also see our mission in informing the public about the newest methods and treatment of ulcerative colitis.

The mission of HLAA is to open the world of communication to people with hearing loss by providing information, education, support and advocacy. Founded in 1979, HLAA is the leading organization for people with hearing loss in the United States.

To advance awareness, research, treatment, and education and to improve the quality of life for all people affected by brain injury.
