We are a nearly 60 year old cancer organization. Our mission is to educate, support, and empower those diagnosed with Cancer. We provide independent information and research to enable patients and their families to make smarter choices for treatment with an emphasis on cure, functionality and dignity. The goal of the Gayle Lyn Kliever Student Fund is to raise and distribute scholarships directly to worthy Tanzanian students. Scholarship help will be given to those students with ability, motivation and potential. Recipients may be of any age. Priority is given to those with little or no family presence. The fund will also support worthwhile educational projects in Tanzania.

These initiatives currently include the following: * In Sierra Leone: providing Ebola relief, building and supporting orphanages and schools, and digging wells and sanitary facilities * In Burundi: building and supporting an orphanage and facility for single mothers; ensuring nursing and support for abandoned babies, and giving microloans and training for widows * In Ethiopia: providing financial support of a pediatric surgical center.
