Special Love provides a strong, nurturing environment for children with cancer and their families; through its free camps and get-away weekends, emergency financial assistance, personal development programming for young adult cancer survivors and educational scholarships for young adults who want to move on from cancer and on with their lives.Since its inception in 1983, nearly 1,000 children and families each year benefit from Special Love’s support, coming from up and down the east coast, as well as areas all across the country through its unique partnership with the National Institutes of Health.

Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to improving the self esteem and quality of life of people undergoing treatment for cancer. Since 1989, the program has served over one million people with cancer in the U.S. and more than 2 million people with cancer around the world with in-person workshops and millions more with digital resouces and now, live, virtual workshops. Free workshops, webinars and at-home programs offer lessons on skin and nail care, wigs and turbans, cosmetics, accessories, body image and personal styling - empowering cancer patients to regain confidence, connect with community , hope and compassion and to focus on becoming survivors and thrivers.

As a global leader in research, we continuously invest in hope. We believe we can build healthier, cancer free futures through early detection and improved treatments.Positively affect the lives of women with ovarian cancer, now and in the near future: - Advance research relative to improving outcomes in ovarian cancer - Influence the direction taken in national research for ovarian cancer - Develop collaborative networks and foster a scientific community of leaders in ovarian cancer research - Partner with the community and encourage contribution to the task of working toward the cure for ovarian cancer - Disseminate findings nationally to increase the number of investigators interested in ovarian cancer research and to create dynamic research connections

Sparsh Palliative Care Services has been providing Hospice and Palliative Care to Cancer patients in Hyderabad since 2011 and cared for over 5000 patients with life limiting illnesses. Cancer burden has been exploding exponentially in India (1.2 million new cases per year). Our patients depend on us for end of life care nursing and medical help; besides the warm care and comfort we provide to ensure that their final days are as comfortable as can be. Sparsh also provides ‘Home Care” at the patient’s door-step, to those who prefer the comfort of their homes. All services at Sparsh are free for the patients including medical care, food, medicines. The final departure is pleasant, and one might even detect a trace of a smile of contentment. Sparsh Hospice. A serene and dignified departure

Patients with chronic or life-altering diseases (such as cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, or multiple sclerosis) must fight both their illness and the financial burden it places on their family as they struggle to pay for their medications. It is estimated that over 35% of these patients have insurance but still cannot afford the co-payments for the specialty therapeutics they need to treat or control their disease, which can range from $300 to over $3000 per month for a single dose. These underinsured patients are not eligible for most free drug or patient assistance programs, leaving them with few alternatives. They may be forced to do without their medications or go into debt to obtain them, greatly affecting their health and quality of life. Our mission is to improve the health and quality of life of underinsured patients with chronic disease, cancer, or other life-altering conditions who cannot afford the medications they so desperately need.

Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee, an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, is dedicated to providing support, education and hope to all people impacted by cancer, including family members and friends of those diagnosed. Free of charge to everyone, Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee’s evidence-based programming for men, women, children and families includes support groups, healthy lifestyle workshops, mind-body classes, social activities, educational lectures and community resource information. Offering approximately 70 professionally-led support and networking groups, and more than 80 educational workshops and lectures each month from two locations, Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee is able to make a tangible difference in the lives of those impacted by cancer. We build community, so no one has to face cancer alone. Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee mission is to ensure all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.

The Tivoli Fund supports organizations with a focus on improving lives. This fund will split donations evenly between No Dogs Left Behind, One Mission, World Central Kitchen, GLAD, and One Tree Planted. No Dogs Left Behind is a leader in global animal rescue. Through international alliances and local resources, we engage in every step of rescue. From emergency response to dog adoption, No Dogs Left Behind stands by our survivors every step of the way. One Mission programs make living in the hospital less lonely and stressful, bring back joy in a time of fear and uncertainty, and give kids and their loved ones the support they need to get through the emotional and financial challenges of treatment. World Central Kitchen uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies through times of crisis and beyond. Through strategic litigation, public policy advocacy, and education, GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) works in New England and nationally to create a just society free of discrimination based on gender identity and expression, HIV status, and sexual orientation. Zip With Us, Inc. is a 501(c)3 public charity serving infants and children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses via the donation of custom, vibrant medically-adapted garments. Our products enable kids ranging from infants to teens to keep their shirts on during chemotherapy and other infusion treatments both in the hospital and during at-home care. Our ZipShirts™ provide dignity and comfort, while making the medical device “access” process easier for both patients and caregivers since they are configured for the individual patient’s medical access points (e.g. ports, picc lines, central lines, g-tubes, n-tubes, etc.). They are soft, bright and personalized to match a child’s favorite colors, characters, and themes. Our new line of Drew’s Cruisers™ are medically-adapted onesies that protect a baby’s central lines via fasteners and flaps, allowing the child to move and play freely without worrying about line dislodgement or injury. These onesies are positive for these little ones in two powerful ways: (i) mitigating the chance of line infections and the need for unnecessary surgery due to accidental dislodgement, as well as (ii) helping prevent developmental stagnation by allowing free movement.

We are a faith based non-profit 501-(c)3 ministry of FARRR Foundation, and a Trauma Informed Care organization serving communities since 2008. Our mission is to show the Love of Christ to others by serving in practical ways, and provide a dignified environment for spiritual growth. We aim to educate our communities about the impact of trauma on clients, coworkers, friends, family, and even ourselves. Understanding the impact of trauma is an important first step in becoming a compassionate and supportive community. We currently provide a range of wrap around supportive services; such as: * Open daily as a Day Shelter w/ a Clothing Closet * Coffee Bar with light snacks and water * Daily Devotions & Christian Nurture * Hot Buffet Lunch * Bi-weekly Food Pantry and haircuts are provided for free from a professional cosmetologist. * Bikes for Individuals w/ Transportation Needs * Prison Ministry * Facilitating Resources for Ex-Offenders * Workforce Development ALSO.... * FREEDOM CELEBRATION: The 2nd Tuesday at 7:00pm, dinner is provided for individuals and/or family members that have been affected by incarceration. * LIGHT CHANGE TOKENS: A cooperative effort of Warm Streets and Church of the Good Shepherd designed to meet some of the basic needs of the most vulnerable among us (i.e. homeless and nearly homeless). Compassionate donors sponsor tokens that can be spent as spare change at local businesses and restaurants. * THE REDEMPTION GROUP: Every Wednesday at 6:30pm, faith-based support group for individuals with hurts, habits, hang-ups and addictions. *50 SHADES OF RED, EVERY WOMAN HAS A STORY: Women’s ministry that encourages, empowers, and embraces women in healing and restoration. * LIGHTHOUSE COMMUNITY FELLOWSHIP: Sundays from 10:00 am – 12:30pm, we gather like the early church for worship, fellowship, sharing testimonies along with learning from the Word of God. Lunch is served after fellowship. * LIGHTHOUSE KIDS: Cooperative Kids Ministry with other churches and non-profits that host planned events throughout the week for students, ages 5 – 15 encompassing a Christ-centered curriculum. * ABIGAIL HOUSE: Anti-Human Trafficking Ministry of The Lighthouse, Abigail House is the only transitional housing facility for women in rescue in the region. It serves women that have been victims of sex trafficking.

The Gathering Place is a caring community that supports, educates and empowers individuals and families currently impacted by cancer through programs and services provided free of charge.
