We believe no one should die from breast cancer simply because they can't afford a mammogram. The Rose has been committed to eliminating breast healthcare inequities for Southeast Texas women since its founding in 1986. The organization was founded by two pioneering women determined to provide comprehensive, quality breast care. The Rose provides mammograms, diagnostic work including biopsies, and access to treatment if needed to all women regardless of their ability to pay.  Each year approximately 7,000 uninsured women and men in our community come to The Rose for help. They have no other place to go. The Rose is the only nationally recognized nonprofit breast health organization in Texas that simultaneously serves the insured and the uninsured through a preventive, culturally sensitive, family-centered, and community-based approach. We have the highest ratings available from independent charity watchdog organizations. While we know we can’t stop breast cancer from happening, together, we can make a difference in whether an uninsured woman survives it.

The LIVESTRONG Foundation fights to improve the lives of people affected by cancer now. Created in 1997, the Foundation is known for leading an ongoing dialogue with patients and survivors, providing free cancer support services and advocating for policies that improve access to care and quality of life. Known for its powerful brand – LIVESTRONG – the Foundation has become a symbol of hope and inspiration around the world. Since its inception, the Foundation has served 2.5 million people affected by the disease and raised more than $500 million to support cancer survivors. Provide living expenses for cancer patients

The ​THANC (Thyroid, Head and Neck Cancer) Foundation​ is an international, independent non-profit with a core mission to help patients and educate physicians. It is dedicated to supporting research and education in the early detection and treatment of thyroid, and head & neck cancers. THANC is actively committed to advancing new therapies and alleviating the suffering and functional impairment of patients who undergo treatment.

The Baldwin Fund, supports both new and established researchers investigating the causes, prevention and treatment of breast cancer. This research will include—but not be limited to—studies of the genetic, molecular, cellular and environmental factors involved in the development and progression of breast cancer; application of the knowledge thus gained to educate medical professionals and increase public awareness for the prevention, detection, treatment and advocacy for the patient of breast cancer; and studies of the outcomes of breast cancer detection and treatment on the patient, their families and society.

The Seany Foundation exists to improve the lives of children, teens and young adults affected by cancer through programs that bring hope and happiness to kids with cancer and their families.

STOMP The Monster™ provides financial and other support to cancer patients, their families, and caregivers when they need it most – during their fight with the disease. We promote a healthy lifestyle with proper diet and exercise, leading by example, and provide funding for potential advances in prevention and treatment.

THE GOG FOUNDATION, INC. The Bone Marrow Foundation, founded in 1992, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for bone marrow, stem cell and cord blood transplant patients and their families by providing vital financial assistance, educational information, and emotional support programs. Transplants treat over 70 life-threatening diseases including cancers and genetic disorders. The Foundation works with transplant centers nationwide and is the only organization of its kind that does not limit assistance to a specific disease, type of transplant or age range. All of The Foundation’s services are offered free to patients and their families. Patient Programs Lifeline Fund provides funding to help cover the costs of transplant-related expenses. In addition, the program leverages social media to enable patients to reach out to their family, friends and social networks for additional financial support. One-to-One Funds assist patients and their families with fundraising efforts by creating a personal fund at The Foundation. Medical & Educational Handbooks provide comprehensive patient education and resources to assist patients and family members in obtaining information regarding all aspects of transplantation. Ask the Expert enables individuals to pose questions concerning transplantation and to have them answered by healthcare professionals. SupportLine provides support services to transplant patients and their families by linking them with volunteers who have gone through the transplant experience. Survivorship Program provides support and information to post-transplant patients, their families, and caregivers as they continue to navigate their transplant journey. Survivor Telephone Support Group staffed by oncology social workers, provides bone marrow, stem cell and cord blood transplant survivors with a weekly scheduled telephone conference support group to share experiences and draw support from others.
