Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. That promise is now Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $2.2 billion since inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we’re working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® and the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure®, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, we have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.

NCAN is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit incorporated in 2004. Our Mission is to intensify awareness of Neuroendocrine Cancer in both the medical community and general public- locally and around the world. NCAN also assists patients and caregivers by providing access to important information about the disease. We provide funding for research into all types of Neuroendocrine Cancer . For the past 15 years NCAN has provided information and support to NET patients and caregivers through e-mail, our web site, and toll free phone number 866-850-9555. Phone line is open 7 days a week 9 am - 9 pm EST. NCAN has been honored with Great Nonprofits Top-Rated Award every year since 2009. NCAN was the co founder of NET Cancer Day. NCAN has produced over 63 Patient conferences since 2003

In December of 2008, Cassandra Brown, was diagnosed with this terrible disease. Although she had minor health issues, she was otherwise healthy and had no cancer-related symptoms. For more than a year, she gracefully battled on, showing her strength and being a role model to us all. Unlike many diagnosed with this disease, she was blessed with several months of happy times, leaving an everlasting footprint in the lives of those around her. In March of 2010, Cassandra’s fight was over. As a legacy to her, the Cassandra’s Cure for Cancer Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was created to raise awareness and funds to help find a cure. Over the last 8 years, our foundation has raised over $70,000 through charitable events from which all proceeds were donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org), the largest advocacy and medical research organization focused on finding a cure for this terrible disease.

Legislation, Policy & Advocacy We are the respected voice of melanoma across the nation. When drugs are approved, legislation is drafted, and research is assessed, AIM is at the table, speaking loudly and clearly on behalf of patients and their families. We are trusted advisors for pharmaceutical companies, medical boards, and government agencies on critical topics that affect melanoma patients. Information & Resources Both in the U.S. and on a global level we provide comprehensive, easy-to-access melanoma information and resources to patients and healthcare professionals.

Founded by Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green, the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation is on a mission to change the way cancer is treated and reduce cancer-patient suffering by providing a treatment that is accessible, affordable, and, most importantly, effective. Despite all of modern and alternative medicine’s best approaches, nearly 9 million cancer-related deaths occur every year due to cost, access, and efficacy of current treatment options. The Mammogram Poster Girls' mission is to raise awareness and funds for the early detection of breast cancer. Funding screening mammograms for those in need.

Fund pediatric brain cancer research & support families

We are an all volunteer organization that raises money to provide direct funding for pediatric cancer research.

LCFA’s mission is the improvement in survivorship of lung cancer patients through the funding of transformative science. While raising funds to support lung cancer research, LCFA will raise the public’s awareness and serve as a resource for patients or anyone seeking answers, hope, and access to updated treatment information, scientific investigation, and clinical trials.

Their primary exempt purpose is to raise funds in order to raise awareness and assist organizations in researching a cure for brain cancer

Our goal is to raise funds and awareness for the fight against cancer, with an emphasis towards childhood cancer and childhood cancer research. We raise funds through putting on comic conventions with celebrity and voice actor appearances. All money from door entry, autographs, photo ops, and musical performances, goes toward our charity we're supporting for the year.

The Foundation's purpose is to raise money to fund sarcoma cancer research by making grants to organizations that conduct research on the treatment and ultimate cure of sarcoma cancer.
