City of Hope is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people with cancer, diabetes and other serious illnesses. We accomplish this by providing outstanding care, conducting innovative research and offering vital education programs focused on eliminating these diseases. Founded in 1913, City of Hope is one of only 41 comprehensive cancer centers in the nation, as designated by the National Cancer Institute. Our role as leaders in patient care, basic and clinical research, and the translation of science into tangible benefit is widely acknowledged. Our community includes research associates, scientists, doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, graduate students, fundraising specialists, marketing professionals, volunteers and an extensive support staff. Founded in 1947, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is committed to providing expert, compassionate care to children and adults with cancer, while advancing the understanding, treatment, cure, and prevention of cancer and related diseases. As an affiliate of Harvard Medical School and a Comprehensive Cancer Center designated by the National Cancer Institute, the Institute also provides training for new generations of physicians and scientists, designs programs that promote public health particularly among high-risk and underserved populations and disseminates innovative patient therapies and scientific discoveries in Boston, across the United States and throughout the world.

Cancer Lifeline's mission is to optimize the quality of life for all people living with cancer.

We believe no one should die from breast cancer simply because they can't afford a mammogram. The Rose has been committed to eliminating breast healthcare inequities for Southeast Texas women since its founding in 1986. The organization was founded by two pioneering women determined to provide comprehensive, quality breast care. The Rose provides mammograms, diagnostic work including biopsies, and access to treatment if needed to all women regardless of their ability to pay.  Each year approximately 7,000 uninsured women and men in our community come to The Rose for help. They have no other place to go. The Rose is the only nationally recognized nonprofit breast health organization in Texas that simultaneously serves the insured and the uninsured through a preventive, culturally sensitive, family-centered, and community-based approach. We have the highest ratings available from independent charity watchdog organizations. While we know we can’t stop breast cancer from happening, together, we can make a difference in whether an uninsured woman survives it.

Cancer isn't free -- especially if you're a young adult just starting out your life. Samfund is a program of Expect Miracles Foundation designed to help young adults who are struggling financially because of cancer. Samfund programs help young adults move forward with their lives after cancer treatment. To date, $3.5 million has been awarded to young adult survivors across the country.

TO BUILD A LONG-TERM SUSTAINABLE ENDOWMENT FUND AND PROVIDE FOR THE STEWARDSHIP OF SUCH FUNDS IN ORDER TO HELP FIGHT CANCER IN THE COMMUNITIES SERVED BY THE CENTER. THE FOUNDATION MAY ALSO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS LOCATED IN THE GEOGRAPHIC AREAS SERVED BY THE CENTER, WHICH HAVE DEMONSTRATED THE ABILITY TO CONDUCT CANCER-RELATED PROGRAMS OR SERVICES THAT REDUCE CANCER INCIDENCE AND MORTALITY, OR IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY CANCER.

At The Cancer Support Center, we work to provide hope, help, and strength through our holistic programs and services, created and delivered personally, virtually, and in ideal settings by professional therapists, counselors, nutritionists, and healthcare experts. With five distinct areas of programming, we work to improve the quality of life in our participants near and far at no cost, thanks to the dedication of our various donors who know how critical it is for people to not just survive, but to thrive.

Our mission is to help people by providing research-based education on how to prevent, cope with, and beat cancer through diet, lifestyle and other immune-boosting approaches.
