The mission of the Kosten foundation is four-fold:To establish support and a forum for communication amongst those afflicted with pancreatic cancer via support group meetings and this website.To assist with the training of future pancreatic surgeons.To provide funding for a yearly Memphis public lecture on pancreatic cancer delivered by a nationally and/or internationally renowned expert on the disease.To provide funding for clinical and basic research toward improving outcomes of those afflicted with pancreatic cancer.

Founded in 1947, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is committed to providing expert, compassionate care to children and adults with cancer, while advancing the understanding, treatment, cure, and prevention of cancer and related diseases. As an affiliate of Harvard Medical School and a Comprehensive Cancer Center designated by the National Cancer Institute, the Institute also provides training for new generations of physicians and scientists, designs programs that promote public health particularly among high-risk and underserved populations and disseminates innovative patient therapies and scientific discoveries in Boston, across the United States and throughout the world.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) is dedicated to being the end of breast cancer by advancing the world's most promising research. Founded by Evelyn H. Lauder in 1993, BCRF-funded investigators have been deeply involved in every major breakthrough in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. This year, BCRF has awarded $63 million in grants to support the work of nearly 300 scientists at leading medical and academic institutions across 14 countries, making BCRF the largest private funder of breast cancer research worldwide. The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, Inc., supports both new and established researchers at University Hospital and Medical Center at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and other outstanding academic institutions, investigating the causes, prevention and treatment of breast cancer. This research will include-but not be limited to-studies of the genetic, molecular, cellular and environmental factors involved in the development and progression of breast cancer; application of the knowledge thus gained to educate medical professionals and increase public awareness for the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer; and studies of the outcomes of breast cancer detection and treatment on the patient, their families and society.

We believe no one should die from breast cancer simply because they can't afford a mammogram. The Rose has been committed to eliminating breast healthcare inequities for Southeast Texas women since its founding in 1986. The organization was founded by two pioneering women determined to provide comprehensive, quality breast care. The Rose provides mammograms, diagnostic work including biopsies, and access to treatment if needed to all women regardless of their ability to pay.  Each year approximately 7,000 uninsured women and men in our community come to The Rose for help. They have no other place to go. The Rose is the only nationally recognized nonprofit breast health organization in Texas that simultaneously serves the insured and the uninsured through a preventive, culturally sensitive, family-centered, and community-based approach. We have the highest ratings available from independent charity watchdog organizations. While we know we can’t stop breast cancer from happening, together, we can make a difference in whether an uninsured woman survives it.

Cancer isn't free -- especially if you're a young adult just starting out your life. Samfund is a program of Expect Miracles Foundation designed to help young adults who are struggling financially because of cancer. Samfund programs help young adults move forward with their lives after cancer treatment. To date, $3.5 million has been awarded to young adult survivors across the country.

STOMP The Monster™ provides financial and other support to cancer patients, their families, and caregivers when they need it most – during their fight with the disease. We promote a healthy lifestyle with proper diet and exercise, leading by example, and provide funding for potential advances in prevention and treatment.
