Founded by Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green, the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation is on a mission to change the way cancer is treated and reduce cancer-patient suffering by providing a treatment that is accessible, affordable, and, most importantly, effective. Despite all of modern and alternative medicine’s best approaches, nearly 9 million cancer-related deaths occur every year due to cost, access, and efficacy of current treatment options. Dr. Green has developed a new arsenal in the war on cancer, Laser-Activated Nano-Therapy (LANT). After a single 10-minute treatment, LANT completely eliminates tumors in laboratory mice in just 15 days, without any observable side effects. Limited by funding, not technological advancements, LANT is ready for human trials. The purpose of the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation is to move LANT beyond the laboratory and into humans, independent of the pharmaceutical industry with tax-deductible donations. We have the capacity to save lives. With our revolutionary technology, we can. With your help, we will. Together, #WeAreOraLee. Together, with your generous support, we can change the way cancer is treated.
The mission of Cal's Angels is Granting Wishes, Raising Awareness and Funding Research to help kids fighting cancer
The mission of the MACC fund is rooted in supporting Wisconsin-based research to help find a cure and facilitate treatment for pediatric cancer and related blood disorders.
It is our mission to aid in the fight against cancer by raising our voices in song. Through song we celebrate those we love, remember those we have lost, honor those who fight, and rejoice for those who survive. With music as our voice, we raise awareness and funds to support those who conduct the research and create the hope of finding a cure for generations to come. Our inspirational performers, whose lives have all been affected in some way by cancer, share stories of hope, loss, and courage through song, dance, and testimonials, allowing for an intimate and inspiring look at our collective fight against cancer. To that end, VOH dedicates its performances and additional fundraising efforts to this life-changing cause.
Established in 2009, One Mission is a pediatric cancer charity that does whatever it takes to get kids through cancer treatment. One Mission programs make living in the hospital less lonely and stressful, bring back joy in a time of fear and uncertainty, and give kids and their loved ones the support they need to get through the emotional and financial challenges of treatment. These programs and services, such as birthday parties, catered meals and parking passes, make the day-to-day life of children fighting cancer much more bearable.
Support the essential work of our doctors, nurses, researchers and staff, so MSK can provide access to world-class, compassionate care for people with cancer.
Bright Spot Network provides young cancer survivors who are parents of small children with a safe space for individual and familial healing, recovery, and reconnection. We do this through family-focused retreats, survivor “matchmaking,” and connecting families with needed support and children’s therapy resources. We focus on young parents and guardians caring for young children at the time of diagnosis, including those diagnosed during pregnancy. We value empathy, equity and justice. Our community is built on trust and authentic connection. We hold hope and healing alongside grief and loss. Bright Spot Network serves families where a parent, or primary caregiver, of a preschool-age kid (ages 0-6 or pregnant at the time of diagnosis) has cancer. We serve people from diagnosis to survivorship, those in active treatment and living with cancer, understanding that a cancer "journey" can be long for the patient and their family.
