Our mission is to aid and support children suffering from poverty, sickness, lack of education or who have experienced physical or moral violence, by offering them the opportunity and the hope of a new life. It is an independent, lay organisation and is also designated an ONLUS (Non-profit organisation of social value). It operates without discrimination of culture, ethnicity and religion and upholds the United Nations rights of the child. The Foundation works around the world and is closest to the weakest and most neglected children offering them food, medicine, health care, education and programmes for social reintegration. In pursuing its goal, Mission Bambini is inspired by the following values: freedom, justice, truth, respect for others and solidarity.

About Us: Our Bridgeport club was founded in 1992, and is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas which was founded in 1921. Soroptimist is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. A 501(c)(3) organization, Soroptimist relies on charitable contributions to fund its programs. Local members join with almost 100,000 Soroptimists in more than120 countries and territories to contribute time and financial support to community-based projects benefiting women. Soroptimist International has consultative status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council, which oversees U.N. activities promoting human rights. In addition to sponsoring the awards programs, our club has participated in community programs focused on various health and human service issues for women and girls, such as the Center for Women and Families, Mi Casa/My Home, Women and Men’s Health Project, Project Courage, and Local Soup Kitchens. The mission of Faith Alive USA, Inc. is to help transform the lives of the poor, vulnerable and sick in Nigeria, primarily by: conducting educational outreach in the United States on the current health conditions in Nigeria and how support and action from people in the United States can make a difference, providing monetary and in-kind support for programs that provide free, holistic health care and compassionate social services to the people of Nigeria, and working closely with Faith Alive Foundation, a non-governmental non-profit organization in Jos, Nigeria.

There are one million orphans in Ethiopia, many of them fending for themselves. AIDS incidence in the general population is about one in six persons and the epidemic is growing. A similar proportion of children orphaned by AIDS is also infected with HIV. There are about 120,000 new cases of HIV infection among children each year. The country is overwhelmed by the needs of their orphans.

Crisis Aid assists in sustaining life. We provide life-saving services and hope to the most vulnerable of populations, through customized responses that bring immediate relief. We address the human condition and fundamental needs to survive and then thrive. Working alongside community leaders, holistic building-blocks are established and true community transformation is made possible.

Mustard Seed Communities (MSC) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to caring for the most vulnerable populations in society. Founded in 1978, MSC provides care to children and adults with physical and mental disabilities, children affected by HIV/AIDS, teenage mothers, impoverished families, and marginalized communities throughout Jamaica, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, and Zimbabwe.

TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND SERVICES TO CHILDREN LIVING IN ADVERSE CONDITIONS IN METROPOLITAN AREAS BOTH IN THE UNITED STATES AND IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. SPECIFIC FOCUS AREAS INCLUDE EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT, SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT AND PHYSICAL HEALTH.
