The Miracle Foundation

Miracle Foundation is an international nonprofit that helps orphans and foster children find a safe, stable, and permanent family. Whether in an orphanage or in the Foster Care System, our vision is a family for every child in our lifetime. Since 2000, Miracle Foundation has been dedicated to improving the lives of children. In 2022 alone, we supported more than 170,000 children—and this is just the beginning. Today, we are a world leader in ending the need for orphanages and ensuring children grow up in safe, stable families. To achieve this, we are actively uniting children with families, partnering with frontline workers, preventing children from entering the system whenever possible, and stabilizing placements for children until they find a forever family. Viet Dreams

Viet Dreams is a 501(c)(3) charity non-profit organization founded by musicians, artists, and music enthusiasts who all share a common goal - to provide disadvantaged children in Vietnam and United States with better educational opportunities and a more healthy, sustainable way of living. It is our duty to provide these children with vital medical supplies and educational assistance so that they may live better lives and one day fulfill their dreams. 100% of every dollar donated goes to our projects. Some of our projects include donating bicycles and helmets, granting scholarships, medical supplies, workshops and most recently, providing access to clean drinking water , which will reduce water-borne illness among children. Our organization also collaborates with local networks and other non-profit organizations such as Hope for Tomorrow, ICAN, Friends of Vinh Son, Fund for Vietnam, Children of Vietnam and Because Vietnam in order to successfully create an environment where every child is safe, self-sufficient, and able to pursue their education. But what sets our organization apart is our unwavering commitment and passion. We are devoted to giving these children a healthier lifestyle and a promising educational future. Our efforts are focused on children living in the poorer, rural areas of Vietnam. We do not discriminate among ethnic backgrounds, religions, minorities or medical circumstances. Every child deserves our assistance. We use our musical talents to raise the necessary funds to support our projects. The majority of our funding coming from benefit concerts, auctions, sponsors, and selling CDs and various artworks. We hope that our efforts and commitment will serve as a powerful reminder that there are many children in Vietnam who still need our help. Our goal is to give these children an opportunity of a lifetime and to make their dreams a reality. "Clean Water in Vietnam - A Project of Viet Dreams"

Holy Woman Foundation

The Holy Woman Foundation was founded to raise funds for needy Jewish children in Jerusalem. Currently, our foundation provides hot lunches and enrichment programming for little girls, aged 6-14, enrolled in Ohr Batya in the Vucharian section of Jerusalem. All of our girls come from dysfunctional and impoverished homes. The school is for "throw-away" girls who would not be accepted elsewhere because of their unstable family backgrounds (mother mentally ill, father in jail, father has abandoned family, etc.). The school day ends at 1 pm, and then the girls go home to. . . . . nothing. Rebbetzin Esther Ben Chaim (see chapter 13 of the bestseller, Holy Woman), the principal of the school, has been able to start an afternoon program since receiving funds from the Holy Woman Foundation. This program gives the girls a hot lunch (their only protein meal of the day‚ and for many their only meal of the day), plus art, music, computer science, field trips, big sisters, tutoring and psychotherapy when needed. None of these things are provided by the government curriculum. Rebbetzin Chaya Sara Kramer, the Holy Woman, blessed this school. The Holy Woman Foundation, created in her memory, seeks to perpetuate the devoted caring for needy Jewish children to which she dedicated her life.

Worldwide Healing Hands

WHH believes that all women and babies should have access to healthcare. We are committed to providing that care both locally and internationally. We partner with medical organizations around the world to provide compassionate medical and surgical care in a way that is respectful to the cultural beliefs of the women. We bring together teams of physicians, nurses, physical therapists and other healthcare workers to bring relief to women and children suffering from the lack of health care that most of us take for granted. We accomplish our mission by partnering with local medical providers and organizations who demonstrate a long-term interest in the health of the local community. Although we donate our skills without monetary compensation, what we receive in return is priceless. Caring for individuals who would otherwise receive no medical attention is both gratifying and humbling.

The Survivor Mitzvah Project

The Survivor Mitzvah Project (SMP) mission is an urgent humanitarian effort bringing direct and continuous financial aid to elderly and forgotten Holocaust survivors scattered across 9 countries including war-torn Ukraine, who are ill, isolated, alone, and in desperate need of food, medicine, heat, shelter, and some loving kindness. Our primary goal is to ensure that no Holocaust Survivor who has experienced the darkest days of human history ever be hungry, cold, or neglected again. Our secondary goal is to encourage people to work towards a kind and compassionate future by imagining a world without hate. Through education and outreach, we encourage people from all walks of life, all ethnicities, all races, religions, and genders to come together to stand up for each other and stop hatred and violence wherever it takes hold.

Dominica American Relief & Development Association

DARDA is an acronym for the Dominica-American Relief and Development Association, Inc. The association was organized on June 28, 1981 by a group of concerned Dominicans living in and around the New York area. After the destruction wrought by Hurricane David various individuals and groups were involved in raising funds to assist in the rebuilding of Dominica. It was from this effort, and at the request of Bam and Wilfred Shillingford, that the idea of a new organization originated. This group, originally known as "Friends of Dominica," then went about the business of attaining official status. On September 25, 1981 it was duly established and registered as a not-for-profit corporation, officially known as the Dominica-American Relief and Development Association, Inc. (DARDA).

On that day, in unison the group pledged to give 1 hour a day for the nation and to inspire millions of others to do so. And volunteer for a better India was born. OVBI is the overseas arm of Volunteer for Better India. We believe that every individual can make a meaningful impact and play a role in the betterment of the global Indian community. Together we can transform the world in a way that would make great leaders like Mahatma Ghandhi proud. We invite you to get involved.
