To establish comprehensive cleft treatment centers in collaboration with local professionals and inspire them to support free interdisciplinary treatment programs. 3. To foster an awareness of the necessity to provide timely comprehensive care for all cleft lip and palate anomalies. 4. To develop and implement programs to identify causes and support preventive measures to reduce the incidence of cleft lip and palate. 5. To create international understanding and goodwill by building bridges of friendship among all people.

In a nutshell, we’re a group of friends who share a common desire to keep Melissa’s Hope going, now, and well into the future. Please feel free to contact any one of us with questions and ideas. Melissa’s Hope is a rare and wonderful place. Its a positive and busy community that feels a lot like summer camp. Visiting Melissa’s Hope feels good because its run by good people who treat the orphans, students, and day campers with respect and great care. Its also an expensive place to run. Right now, people who know Melissa’s Hope are raising money where they can to keep it going, but its month by month with practically no reserve. Its a fragile state that we intend to change. MHF is a volunteer organization. We established MHF with our own time, energy, and money, so donations are NOT subject to any overhead or expenses. Every dollar of every donation goes directly to Melissa’s Hope.

Founded by David Talbot Maes nephew in 2006. Enabling disabled around the world by donating crutches which have been donated to them. We believe mobility should be free. 103,000 items have been shipped to those in dire need.

Pediatric Orthopedic Project, Inc. (POP) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving pediatric orthopedic care in the developing world through surgical mission trips, the education of local medical staff, and hospital facility improvements.Every year we travel to countries in the developing world with a team of medical experts (doctors, nurses, physician assistants and technologists) and provide free orthopedic surgery on impoverished children. Currently, we are focusing our efforts in Santiago, Dominican Republic where more than 250 children have received free surgical correction in 8 years. Our organization's priorities includes education of the local doctors and medical staff.

CRY America Inc., an independent 501c3 registered non-profit organization was established in November 2002. CRY America works towards restoring basic rights to underprivileged children, primarily those in India. Mercy in Action is a non-profit organization that focuses on the crisis in Maternal/Newborn/Child health care worldwide. We have been establishing and funding free birth centers for poor families in the Philippines since 1992, and to date more than 12,000 babies have been delivered free of charge for the poorest of the poor in Mercy In Action's Birth Centers, and literally tens of thousands of lives have been helped and healed in the medical outreaches. Mercy In Acton also teaches clinical internships, seminars and training retreats to prepare midwives, medics and nurses to meet the global shortage of skilled birth attendants, and to help primary health care workers prevent unnecessary child deaths.
