Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island is a registered charity whose purpose is to raise funds to support the health and well being of children and youth in need on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. Our roots go back to 1922, and we were previously known as the Queen Alexandra Foundation for Children. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and audited annually, funds are carefully allocated to facilities, services, programs, special projects and urgently needed medical equipment that help ensure children and youth develop to their full potential. Children mean the world to us.

Mission: First Nations Community HealthSource is committed to providing a culturally competent comprehensive health delivery system integrating traditional values to enhance the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of American Indian/Alaskan Native families and other underserved populations residing in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas.

AdventHealth Hospice Care East Florida is a not-for-profit, faith-based hospice that is dedicated to providing compassionate, end-of-life care to individuals of all faiths throughout Volusia and Flagler counties. We are dedicated to acknowledging and preserving the dignity of individuals by providing comprehensive spiritual, psychosocial and medical support for those facing end-of-life challenges. AdventHealth Hospice Care East Florida acknowledges that death is a natural part of life and encourages every individual to live each day to its fullest.

The Lupus Foundation of America, Philadelphia Tri-State Chapter is dedicated to improving the lives of all those affected by lupus through programs of education, support, research, and advocacy.

The Lupus Foundation of America North Carolina Chapter (LFANC) is part of a national force devoted to solving the cruel mystery of lupus while providing caring support to those who suffer from its brutal impact. The LFANC is the only statewide lupus organization in North Carolina. The Lupus Foundation of America North Carolina Chapter is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education, support, and advocacy.

We provide information, education, support and advocacy for people with hearing loss in Contra Costa, Eastern Alameda and Southern Solano counties. Hearing loss affects all parts of your life; communicating with loved ones, colleagues and friends; going to the grocery store, pharmacy, doctors appointment; and entertainment and sporting events. We help each other learn how to live functional lives with a difficult disability.

Better Health Initiative for Women and Children's mission is to equip communities with the knowledge and support to improve the health and well-being of women and children. The vision is to reduce morbidity and mortality for women and children in low-income communities.

Our Mission Through grassroots education, advocacy and direct services, Breathe California fights lung disease, advocates for clean air, and advances public health. Our Vision Communities empowered to eliminate the causes and burden of lung disease, promote clean air and improve public health. Our Theory of Change We believe the Breathe CA comprehensive approach of direct services, advocacy, and education, increases knowledge, confidence and ability in lung health management & treatment, resulting in lower rates of morbidity and mortality, and advancing health equity.

A strong community needs great health care close to home. Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Foundation supports the Health Centre’s remarkable physicians and staff as they take care of our community. Donations support facility renovations to our patient care areas. For example, support from donors helped build a new wing that opened in 2012. Donors also help purchase essential medical equipment, like a new endo-bronchial ultrasound that pinpoints lung cancer, and funds training for our dedicated health care professionals. Current priorities include renovating our patient spaces like lounges and waiting areas to make the more comfortable for patients and families; building a new Dialysis Centre; and building and equipping two new Interventional Suites in our Diagnostic Imaging department.
