California Diabetes Foundation is a Southern California based non-profit organization, established with the aims of creating awareness of the emerging national epidemic of the new millennium - Diabetes among the general population. It is rightly said,“ the diabetic who knows most lives longest”. Diabetes Mellitus has taken epidemic proportions in USA in the last decade. Our mission is to educate Americans about Diabetes to create awareness and help in the prevention of this disease.

The mission of ElderHelp is to provide personalized services and information that help seniors remain independent and live with dignity in their own homes. Since 1973, ElderHelp has been a critical resource to San Diego's growing population of seniors who have limited support and endure the physical limitations that often come with advanced age—a combination that limits their ability to remain independent and living in their own neighborhoods. With a small, dedicated staff and a corps of over 350 paraprofessional volunteers, ElderHelp offers an array of award winning programs to assist seniors and their families with a wide range of essential activities.

PREVENTION IS THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THE SPREAD OF HIV & AIDS! HIV/AIDS is a preventable disease that has reached epidemic proportions. New reported cases of HIV/AIDS remain high throughout New Brunswick and across Canada, and are increasing, particularly among women, injection drug users, young people and other vulnerable communities. Though challenging to reach, these vulnerable populations continue to be the focus of much of AIDS New Brunswick's efforts in supporting education and prevention resources and initiatives for New Brunswickers. Helping people to cope and improve their quality of life guides the delivery of all our support services for people living with HIV/AIDS and their informal and formal caregivers. We strive to support individuals and organizations by providing and supporting opportunities for information sharing, skills-building, emotional support, peer support, referrals and advocacy.
