The Bonnechere Manor Foundation is a registered charity made up of a group of volunteers dedicated to raising funds to enrich the quality of life for all residents and clients at the Bonnechere Manor. Whether it is an Auditorium, state-of-the-art equipment, or programs to enrich the residents' quality of life, the Foundation is dedicated to making Bonnechere Manor truly a home-away-from-home. The Foundation is also a vehicle to raise funds that support capital projects and other programs that are not funded through existing Ministry of Health and Long Term Care mechanisms.

Prion Alliance

Prion Alliance, Inc aims to catalyze the development of a treatment or cure for human prion diseases by funding, organizing and promoting scientific research. Our organization supports research directed at understanding prion disease biology, discovering and testing therapeutics, and developing novel lab and computational methodologies needed for furthering this research. Liv4TheCure

Liv4TheCure’s mission is to promote awareness, help families and fund research for Rare Genetic Diseases (starting with Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome). ​​ A rare disease is a disease that affects less than 200,000 people at any given time. Rare diseases affect 25-30 million Americans. Our goal is to bring awareness to rare diseases, specifically Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome which is a genetic deletion on the 4th chromosome that affects children in highly varied ways. A portion of our funds will go to helping families in need. The other portion of our funds will go to research, specifically gene therapy and replacement for the missing areas of the 4th chromosome that have been deleted. ​ Liv4TheCure wants to fund the creation of a new platform technology such as CRISPR that will not only help children with WHS but any child with a genetic deletion.
