Friends of Patients at the NIH, formerly Friends of the Clinical Center, provides financial, logistical and social support to patients while they are receiving groundbreaking and life-saving treatments at the NIH Clinical Research Center. We cover unmet needs so that patients can focus on recovery, healing and fulfilling their crucial role partnering with NIH researchers in advancing knowledge, discoveries and breakthroughs.

Our mission is to educate the public and medical community about preventing and reversing multiple causes of memory loss, dementia, and Alzheimer’s Disease, and to advocate for new testing and treatment protocols. To accomplish our mission, we use live presentations, social and multimedia outreach, online resources, and a collaborative network of like-minded individuals and organizations to spread the good news.

WE HOUSE BOYS AND GIRLS WHO ARE TROUBLED, ABUSED, NEGLECTED OR COME FROM TROUBLED FAMILIES. WE PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE LIVING ARRANGEMENT FOR THESE CHILDREN WHO CANNOT LIVE IN THEIR OWN HOMES OR UNDER ANY OTHER FAMILY CARE. WE STRENGTHEN CHARACTER BY MODELING CHRIST-CENTERED VALUES. WE TRANSFORM HEARTS AND CHANGE LIVES WHILE MAINTAINING OUR CORE VALUES, WHICH ARE BIBLE-BASED, PEOPLE ORIENTED AND WITH AN OBEDIENT SPIRIT. WE HAVE BEEN SERVING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FOR OVER 30 YEARS. OVER THE LAST 3 DECADES APPROXIMATLY 700 CHILDREN HAVE CALLED THE RANCH "HOME". Every cure has a starting point. Like Dr. Jonas Salk when he conquered polio, Salk scientists are dedicated to innovative biological research. Exploring the molecular basis of diseases makes curing them more likely. In an outstanding and unique environment we gather the foremost scientific minds in the world and give them the freedom to work collaboratively and think creatively. For over 50 years this wide-ranging scientific inquiry has yielded life-changing discoveries impacting human health. We are home to Nobel Laureates and members of the National Academy of Sciences who train and mentor the next generation of international scientists. We lead biological research. We prize discovery. H.O.P.E. Farm, Inc was formed on December 11, 1990 as a charitable organization incorporated under the nonprofit corporation laws of the state of Texas the purpose of h 0 p e farm is to meet the spiritual, educational, and social needs of young, at risk boys living in the Morningside and Como neighborhoods of fort worth, Texas through such programs as spiritual enrichment, academics and physical fitness. 

Maryvale's mission, inspired by the compassionate service of our Vincentian founders, faithful to Catholic social teaching rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ and the charism of the daughters of charity, is to heal, empower and educate children and families in order to instill hope for a more fulfilling future. We do this by providing residential, educational, mental health and community-based services in an environment of dignity, love and respect.

Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps and the Doctor Franklin Perkins School merged to form RFK Community Alliance! While it won’t change the programs we run, the people we serve, or the people that make up our teams, we’re happy to be under one name. Currently, more than 20,000 Manitobans are diagnosed and one person out of every three is personally affected. The Alzheimer Society of Manitoba provides valuable programs and services for people affected by dementia, while funding research to help find a cure. The Society offers supportive counselling; caregiver education; support groups for people with dementia and for their caregivers; professional education; public awareness; the MedicAlert® Safely Home program; the First Link® program and more. The Alzheimer Society also plays an important role in advocating for change within our local, provincial and federal governments. By working to influence programs and services which directly impact people affected, the Society helps enhance the quality of life for people living with a diagnosis and the people who care for them.

Founded in 1910, the Center for Hearing and Communication is the oldest and largest nonprofit organization providing comprehensive hearing rehabilitation and social services programs for individuals who are deaf or have hearing loss. With locations in New York and Florida, we continue to expand and enhance services for the deal/hard of hearing community, while adhering to our mission by providing services regardless of age, ability to pay, or mode of communication.
