Westminster Canterbury Foundation

Westminster Canterbury Foundation inspires generosity at Westminster Canterbury Richmond. Growing from our roots in faith, we nurture the spirit of generosity of Westminster Canterbury Richmond to ensure the best life possible for our residents and to cultivate leadership in senior services. Our founding mission emphasized our Fellowship Program, which helps provide life care – guaranteed access to long-term assisted living or healthcare if needed – as well as necessities such as housing, food and medical expenses for seniors-in-need. A newly established Fellowship Outreach effort is in response to Westminster Canterbury Foundation’s Community Needs Study assessing the barriers to healthy aging in greater Richmond. Westminster Canterbury Foundation also supports areas of excellence including healthcare, memory therapies and spiritual support, chaplaincy programs and internships, wellness and fitness programs, enhancements and scholarships for the Child Development Center, workforce development, and thriving creative programs that include studio and performing arts. Innovation and leadership in senior services are made possible every year.
