Founded over 25 years ago, the Alzheimer Society is a not-for-profit health organization dedicated to helping people affected by Alzheimer Disease. The Society consists of a national office, 10 provincial organizations and more than 140 local groups across the country.
Since 1985, Hospice of Wichita Falls has offered a special kind of care to patients and families in 12 North Texas counties (within approximately 50-60 miles of Wichita Falls) who are coping with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. Pain control and symptom management is the focus of hospice care. A team of physicians, nurses, social workers, aides, clergy and volunteers, along with support staff, work together to ensure the patient's physical, emotional and spiritual comfort. Most often, hospice care is provided in the patient's own home. When patients cannot safely remain at home, inpatient hospice care is provided in the W. Erle and Emma White Hospice Center.
They provide compassionate care in the later stages of life and support through the grief experience for individuals and families.
HOSPICE CARE OF MIDDLETOWN CARES FOR TERMINALLY ILL PATIENTS. THE DAILY AVERAGE NUMBER OF PATIENTS RECEIVING CARE IN 2018 WAS 41.9 PATIENTS PER DAY.

In accordance with the Organization's mission, we provide benevolent care to those individuals who are unable to pay for the full cost of their care. For the fiscal year ending 06/30/2020, a total of $14,970 in services was rendered as benevolent care
