The Endometriosis Foundation of America strives to increase disease recognition, provide advocacy, facilitate expert surgical training, and fund landmark endometriosis research. Engaged in a robust campaign to inform both the medical community and the public, the EFA places particular emphasis on the critical importance of early diagnosis and effective intervention while simultaneously providing education to the next generation of medical professionals and their patients.

The APS Foundation of America, Inc. is the only United States nonprofit health agency dedicated to bringing national awareness to Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS), the major cause of multiple miscarriages, thrombosis, young strokes and heart attacks. We are a volunteer run, community based 501(c)3 non-profit Public Charity organization and is dedicated to fostering and facilitating joint efforts in the areas of education, support, public awareness, research and patient services. As Little Sisters of the Poor, our mission is to offer the neediest elderly of every race and religion a home where they will be welcomed as Christ, cared for as family and accompanied with dignity until God calls them to himself. Together with a diverse network of collaborators, we serve the elderly poor in over 30 countries around the world.The Little Sisters of the Poor have cared for more than 15,000 aged poor from the D.C. Metro area since our arrival 150 years ago. Again, we happily accept into our home people of all faiths and nationalities, and it is in our rules that we take only the very poor into our homes.

The Rare Sisters Batten Foundation will help further the development of medical research for treatments and cures for CLN3 Batten Disease, and provide monetary assistance to families with children diagnosed with Batten Disease.​​

CWLA challenges Americans to make children a national priority. Our mission is to engage people everywhere in promoting the well-being of children, youth, and their families, and protecting every child from harm. We envision a future in which families, neighborhoods, communities, organizations, and governments ensure that five universal needs of children are met. They include (1) basics such as food, shelter, education, and health care, (2) nurturing relationships, (3) opportunities for optimal development, (4) protection from harm, (5) and healing from harm if it occurs.
