Jack's Corner Foundation

Jack’s Corner is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and finding a cure for children with SPG50 through the acceleration of gene therapy treatments, funding of research, and raising awareness of the disease.SPG50 is an ultra-rare neurodegenerative disease that affects children. The disease causes spasticity that starts in chldren's legs, slowly taking away their ability to walk. The spasticity then takes away their ability to use their hands, and ultimately, their mental capacity.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati provides a supportive "home away from home" for families and their children who are receiving treatment at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center or other area hospital. Ronald McDonald House Charities also awards grants to local not-for-profit organizations serving children through a portion of donations received from McDonald's customers and Global Ronald McDonald House Charities' matching funds.

Facial Pain Research Foundation

Given the lack of understanding of the causes of and treatments for neuropathic facial pain, FPRF is established to foster and support effective translational medical research (i.e., from fundamental discovery to clinical application). Project Alive

Project Alive is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Hunter Syndrome research & advocacy foundation. Our mission is to cure Hunter Syndrome / Mucopolysaccharidosis II. Project Alive funds research programs focused on Hunter Syndrome, and assists industry and academics with designing research and clinical programs to treat Hunter Syndrome. Project Alive also advocates with regulatory and legislative bodies, as well as industry, for policies supporting the most effective and efficient clinical research programs and compassionate use / expanded access protocols.

WELLSPRING CANCER SUPPORT FOUNDATION

Wellspring is open to all cancer patients, their families and care givers, all of whom are known as members. Wellspring is welcoming and comfortable in nature, external to hospitals or treatment centres, and is devoid of any “institutional” feeling. Volunteers and group leaders providing programs at Wellspring deliver only cancer support services and not medical treatment or medical therapies, nor services for patients with diseases other than cancer. Wellspring receives no government funding and offers all programs and services at no charge to our members and without referral.

Deafhood Foundation

Has a mission that is dedicated to achieving economic and social justice for all deaf people by providing financial, educational and social opportunities to end the economic exploitation of deaf people. The foundation envisions a world free of audism where everyone experiences full humanity and celebrates sign language. To achieve the mission and vision, the foundation focuses on four goals: consulting, outreach, networking and grants. Grants are the primary goal and the heart of the foundation and funding is provided for those areas: arts, activism, education, media, and research.
