Our Mission at Snowline is serving our community by supporting patients near end-of-life and guiding loved ones through grief. Snowline, established in 1979, is a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to to serving our community by enhancing the lives of those with chronic, serious illness, and patients nearing end-of-life. The care provided to patients and families is carried out by a Snowline Interdisciplinary team of professionals that includes physicians, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, medical social workers, spiritual care providers, hospice aides and volunteers. The majority of Snowline's dedicated staff has earned the distinction of "Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care," an advance level of education.

Hospice of San Luis Obispo County (Hospice SLO County), a local, 501(c) 3 non-profit, volunteer, non-medical hospice, has been providing county-wide in-home respite care, emotional support, practical assistance, and comfort to individuals who are experiencing the impact of a life-limiting illness for over 40 years. The organization also offers grief-counseling services, including individual, family and group counseling, to anyone grieving the death of a loved one. All Hospice SLO County services are provided at no charge and are supported through direct donations and fundraising events.

The mission of the Spina Bifida Association of Arizona is to promote awareness of Spina Bifida and enhance the lives of those affected.

Friends of Patients at the NIH, formerly Friends of the Clinical Center, provides financial, logistical and social support to patients while they are receiving groundbreaking and life-saving treatments at the NIH Clinical Research Center. We cover unmet needs so that patients can focus on recovery, healing and fulfilling their crucial role partnering with NIH researchers in advancing knowledge, discoveries and breakthroughs.

In the past year, The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, assisted approximately 28,000 neighbours in Waterloo Region. Yearly, The Food Bank distributes over 3 million pounds of food to community individuals who are facing challenging circumstances. Food is distributed through a partnership of 76 member agencies and community programs which provide emergency food hampers and meals. The VNA provides compassionate, innovative care of the highest quality, setting the standard for patients and caregivers needing home health, hospice and community health services, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. The VNA works to provide innovative access to care for the community through home health, hospice and community health & education programs. The VNA's wellness programs encompass the community education and outreach aspect of our mission, promoting health throughout the counties we serve.
