Alliance for Aging Research

The Alliance for Aging Research advances scientific and medical discoveries to maximize healthy aging, independence and quality of life for older Americans. America's science, innovation and public spirit have the potential to avert the social and fiscal chaos that might otherwise accompany a "silver tsunami" of age-related diseases and lost productivity. The Alliance for Aging Research seeks to realize this potential and establish "healthy aging research" as a priority for our country as a whole. The advances we seek will make 85 years for most people look and feel like 65 today.

Therapeutic Living Centers for the Blind is dedicated to caring for the lifetime needs of people challenged by developmental disabilities and blindness.  TLC believes in the value of each individual and promotes the philosophy that each participant can be assisted to achieve his or her full potential.

Hammer Residences

Hammer Residences mission is to provide adults and children with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live life to its fullest. Since 1923, Hammer has provided innovative services for people with disabilities to live meaningful, self-directed lives to the level of each person's ability. We support 1,500 individuals in our 35 homes and 10 apartment programs throughout the west metro area in Hennepin County. At Hammer, we believe in helping the people we support achieve their goals and follow their dreams. We do this by allowing individuals to be as independent as possible, while providing as much support as needed to achieve success.

Eblen Charities

Eblen Charities provides emergency financial assistance to help individuals and families in Western North Carolina with rent, heat, electric bills and other services during times of crisis, whether due to a medical condition, disability, job loss or other unexpected emergency.

Life's Worc

Life’s WORC offers comprehensive services and support to more than 2,000 people and families with intellectual disabilities and autism in Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk counties. Our residential locations provide supportive homes to over 250 people throughout the noted communities including East Harlem. Additional programs for both families and people with developmental disabilities and autism include at-home support, skills development and behavioral intervention, social recreational programs, and vocational training opportunities. We also offer collaborative school linkage programs with both Long Island and NYC school districts supporting people and families in need of applied behavior analysis intervention.
