Guide Dog Foundation For The Blind

Since 1946, the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind has trained and placed guide and service dogs to provide independence, enhanced mobility, and companionship to people who are blind, have low vision, or who have other special needs. The Guide Dog Foundation serves clients from across the United States and Canada. People come to us for our trademark small classes and personalized instruction, and we have successfully worked with individuals who are deaf-blind and those with disabilities other than blindness or hearing impairment. In addition to our guide and service dog programs, the Foundation offers extensive education and outreach programs to broaden the public's understanding of vision and visual impairment, and access and disability rights.

Sarah Foundation

SARAH is a family of agencies, SARAH Inc., SARAH SENECA, and SARAH Tuxis, that provide programs and services for people with intellectual and other disabilities who live in Connecticut. Community Based Services, Inc. (CBS) is a not-for-profit organization that provides the highest level of individualized care for people with autism and developmental disabilities in home and community-based settings. Founded in 1981 by Kevin J. McCarthy, community based services was among the first agencies to help serve and support the people of the Hudson Valley region.

Lgs Foundation

The LGS Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals impacted by LGS through advancing research, awareness, education, and family support. Our vision is to end the suffering and devastation caused by LGS. Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS) is a severe epilepsy syndrome that develops in young children and often leads to lifelong disability.
