Turtle Island Restoration Network

Our mission is to take swift and decisive action to protect and restore marine species and their habitats and to inspire people in communities all over the world to join us as active and vocal marine species advocates. The Sea Turtle Restoration Project (STRP), founded in 1989, TIRN's oldest and largest project, works to protect and restore endangered sea turtle populations worldwide in ways that meet the needs of the turtles and the needs of neighboring local communities using grassroots action, multimedia campaigns, hands-on conservation, environmental education, and litigation. STRP's sponsoring nonprofit is Turtle Island Restoration Network or TIRN.

Kween Culture Initiative

Kween Culture Initiative is a social empowerment project for and by Black Transgender women. Kween Culture aims to empower and celebrate the richness of Black transgender women through creating moments, spaces, and events for collective possibility and to create a framework that highlights our joy, our resilience, and our sisterhood in spite of disparities we face.

Association Of Black Women Physicians

The Association of Black Women Physicians is an organized network of Black women physicians committed to the improvement of public health and welfare, through the advancement of knowledge concerning women and the community health. We serve as a philanthropic source of funds to individuals and projects related to the health concerns of the Black community. We endeavor to enhance the personal and professional quality of life of present and future Black women physicians.
