The Chicago Lighthouse for People Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired is a not-for-profit agency committed to providing the highest quality educational, clinical, vocational, and rehabilitation services for children, youth and adults who are blind or visually impaired, including deaf-blind and multi-disabled. Through its comprehensive range of programs and services, The Lighthouse respects personal dignity and partners with individuals to enhance independent living and self-sufficiency. The Lighthouse is a leader, innovator, and advocate for people who are blind or visually impaired, enhancing the quality of life for all individuals involved at the Lighthouse, and for the community.

Off the Mat, Into the World (OTM) is an international yoga and activism program that has actively engaged over 35,000 people since its launch in 2008. Off the Mat, Into the World uses the power of yoga to inspire conscious activists and ignite grassroots social change.

The Foundation’s mission is to Raise Awareness & Resources that Allow Children in Need to Focus on the Joys of Being a Child.

VINCENT OHAJU, MEDICAL DIRECTOR FOR TRAUMA SERVICES AT CHI ST. JOSEPH HEALTH IN BRYAN, TEXAS. ORIGINALLY FROM THE TOWN OF IHITTE, IN SOUTH EASTERN NIGERIA, DR. OHAJU HAD PERSONALLY WITNESSED THE EFFECTS OF INADEQUATE AVAILABLE MEDIC

The World Health Foundation for Development and Peace, founded by Dr. Warter, is a non-profit, educational organization whose mission is to disseminate ideas and programs that generate greater health, well being and a higher standard of living across the world. This work is accomplished by empowering individuals and groups to create projects in their home regions that are in alignment with their own vision for their communities. SameYou works to increase the provision of rehabilitation for young adults after leaving hospital and to facilitate innovations in specialist nurse training, fund clinical research and develop evidence for policy change.
