The Living Well Foundation is a nonprofit youth/family health and development organization established in 2006 in the state of Missouri. The mission of the Living Well Foundation is to create healthier individuals/families through experiential learning. Our current focus deals with obesity. Camp Jump Start, an award winning and nationally recognized ?best practice? in the treatment of childhood obesity assisted in developing the strategies at the Living Well Village to prevent obesity using a holistic approach. Our philosophy is ?fair does not mean that everyone gets the same treatment---fair is that a person gets what they need?. This opens the doors for education to those with limited means. The Living Well Village wishes to have room for anyone seeking knowledge so that they may take personal responsibility for their own health. Because when ?we know better, we can do better? and then we teach our family. This is how we change the course of health issues in the world today.

International Eye Foundation is dedicated to helping people see! Since 1961 IEF has taken up the challenge in poor countries around the world, helping to restore sight and prevent blindness. IEF offers strong new strategic directions that focus on making eye clinics financially self sufficient. IEFs achievements include developing eye health services, training ophthalmologists and para-medicals, and fighting vitamin A deficiency, trachoma and river blindness. IEF is now strengthening the management, quality of service, and income generating activities so that eye clinics are less dependent on outside donors and government funds.

TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF THE PEOPLE OF WASHINGTON STATE. IN 2014, WHF MADE THE DIFFICULT DECISION TO END ITS PERSONAL HEALTH ADVOCATE PROGRAM AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AND ESSENTIALLY SUSPENDED OPERATIONS AS THE BOARD EVALUATED ITS OPTIONS. IN 2015, THE BOARD CONTINUED TO ASSESS ITS FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES AND ALSO CONCLUDED THAT IT WAS BEST TO ALLOW ANY POSSIBLE PAST CONTINGENT LIABILITIES TO BE IDENTIFIED AND SATISFIED BEFORE PROCEEDING FURTHER. THE FOUNDATION BOARD HAS NOT IDENTIFIED ANY SUCH LIABILITIES BUT HAS DECIDED TO MAINTAIN ITS CURRENT LIMITED APPROACH FOR ANOTHER YEAR OR TWO. Open Wide Foundation is a non-profit dental organization redefining humanitarian dentistry. Our mission is to make a significant, measurable and lasting impact on oral health in communities of need. By combining the efforts of dental volunteers and industry leaders, we strive to impact oral health in a positive and lasting way. Together we: • Build permanent dental clinics in cooperation with the communities they serve to provide on-going access to oral care. • Provide and facilitate turn-key dental outreach experiences where volunteers can provide dental services to the needy & mentor local professionals and students. • Give access to on-going mentoring, educational materials and support to local oral health care providers, institutions & students.

Dementia Spotlight Foundation is dedicated to supporting lives through advocacy, the arts, & dementia education. We're committed to educating both family and professional caregivers about dementia-related diseases and enhancing the supports and standards of care needed. Due to the complexity of dementia and the stigma associated with it, there's an extreme lack of funding, education, & resources available for individuals and caregivers who need them right now. While research is thriving, and we all hope for a cure, the fact remains that 5.4 million people in the U.S. are living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. With a focus on LIFE before LOSS, RIGHTS before research, and CARE before cure, we realize that life doesn't end after a dementia diagnosis, there's HOPE & a way forward.

Despite significant reductions across the nation, tobacco use is still the number one cause of preventable death in the United States, killing more than 400,000 people every year. Since being established in 1999, the American Legacy Foundation (Legacy) has developed a comprehensive understanding of the tobacco crisis and the many issues that surround it. Legacy is the nation's largest and most effective independent public health charity dedicated to tobacco use prevention and smoking cessation. Our mission is to build a world where young people reject tobacco and anyone can quit. By giving young people the facts and information they need to reject tobacco and adult smokers the tools they need to quit and stay quit, Legacy is helping people live longer, healthier lives. Legacy employs community intervention and population-based public education strategies to reach current and potential tobacco users, customizing our approach to recognize, respect and address cultural differences.

We are an organization created by parents of children diagnosed with rare forms of Epilepsy and Autism as a result of a change in the SCN2A gene. Our vision is to find effective treatments and a cure for SCN2A related disorders. Our mission is to improve the lives of those affected by SCN2A related disorders through research, public awareness, family support and patient advocacy. We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization.

End Well is dedicated to the belief that all people should experience the end of life in a way that matches their values and goals. When faced with issues of mortality, we often suffer needlessly for a variety of reasons, from cultural and clinical to matters of access. End Well brings together a multidisciplinary community that unites design, technology, health, policy and activist initiative to transform how the world thinks about caregiving, grief, illness and the end of life experience with the ultimate goal of creating a future where ending well becomes a measure of living well.
