2-1-1 Broward's is a one-program multi-service agency that provides vital linkages between health and human service providers and the Broward community through the 2-1-1 general and specialty Helplines. It is 2-1-1 Broward's mission to provide 24-hour comprehensive Helpline and support services for individuals in our community seeking crisis/suicide intervention, and/or information and referrals for health and human services, community resource and disaster-related information in Broward.

We educate parents and caregivers, support protective policies, and engage households and communities by providing access to critical information that encourages smarter lifestyle choices to reduce toxic chemicals exposure. Our programs and initiatives are centered around expanding awareness of environmental hazards to children's health; helping the public learn about healthier practices, solutions, and products in the marketplace; creating standards and policies for safer products, foods, materials, and chemicals used in the home; and advocating for and supporting corporate policies and governmental legislation that protect children from environmental risks. Move it Nation, Inc. is a health, well-being, and leadership 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to empower youth to move their minds, bodies and souls. Collectively, we motivate, educate and inspire the future generation to live well: physically, mentally and emotionally.OUR FOCUSOur focus is well-being particularly among multicultural, urban youth. Recent research has shown that women and adolescent girls of African descent are disproportionately affected by chronic disorders such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and are more physically inactive than their racial or ethnic counterparts.In response to this, we have narrowed our focus with programs and interventions for this population. Our secondary focus is education and enrichment among youth in Southern Africa.
