Our mission at Green World Health Network is to improve health and at the same time create a more sustainable planet. We believe that our future as a people and planet depends on identifying and strengthening the connections between health, quality of life, and the environment. We work towards this goal by implementing innovative projects which utilize green technologies and practices to improve health and quality of life in under-resourced communities in the US and throughout the world.

Lambs Farm serves a mission of helping people with developmental disabilities lead productive, happy lives and connecting with the human spirit in us all. Lambs Farm is a non-profit organization serving adults with developmental disabilities and offering vocational, residential, social, and recreational services based on each person's interests, strengths and needs, both on-campus and in the community. Programs are continually enhanced to meet the changing needs and desires of the individuals served.

Move it Nation, Inc. is a health, well-being, and leadership 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to empower youth to move their minds, bodies and souls. Collectively, we motivate, educate and inspire the future generation to live well: physically, mentally and emotionally.OUR FOCUSOur focus is well-being particularly among multicultural, urban youth. Recent research has shown that women and adolescent girls of African descent are disproportionately affected by chronic disorders such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and are more physically inactive than their racial or ethnic counterparts.In response to this, we have narrowed our focus with programs and interventions for this population. Our secondary focus is education and enrichment among youth in Southern Africa.

Rising above life challenges through equine assisted therapy that facilitates learning and growth. Arise Equine Therapy Foundation utilizes the EAGALA and Natural Lifemanship therapy models of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP). We use a team approach comprised of a licensed Mental Health Professional, a certified Equine Specialist, the horse(s) and the client(s). Through hands on, experiential activities real life challenges are identified and addressed to equip the client with practical solutions. EAP easily adapts to a variety of populations and needs. Success is seen in clients with, but not limited to, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, grief, depression, and other behavioral and mental health needs. Our staff is equipped to provide services to youths, adults, individuals, families and groups.

Lori Hartwell founded Renal Support Network (RSN) in 1993 to empower people who have kidney disease to become knowledgeable about their illness, proactive in their care, hopeful about their future and make friendships that last a lifetime. Lori was diagnosed in 1968 with kidney failure and knows how important hope, peer connection and knowledge is to survive and thrive with an illness. RSN’s hopeful and life-enriching, non-medical programs help people who have kidney disease and their families, whether they are in the early stages of the disease, are on dialysis, or have received a transplant. People we connect with come to see kidney disease in a totally different light – that although it’s difficult, it is manageable. We help them recognize the need to take control of the course and management of their illness through storytelling. Learning from another patient’s experience and point of wisdom to live successfully and navigate care is vital for success. An Illness is too demanding when you do not have hope. RSN strives to make a lasting and positive difference in the lives of people with kidney disease and ensure that healthcare professionals and regulatory agencies legislative leaders that serve us hear what our needs are to have the best care and health possible.

Since 1988, H.E.A.R., Hearing Education and Awareness For Rockers, mission is dedicated to the prevention of hearing loss and tinnitus. We cater particularly to the population most vulnerable to potential noise induced hearing loss ––young music lovers, musicians, DJs and their audiences and others in the music and entertainment industry––but extend our education, awareness, and advocacy to people from all walks of life. In addition to awareness, education and advocacy work, we provide music-hearing services in San Francisco and a directory of partners for other locales. In everything that we do, we strive to ensure that hearing conservation becomes part of every music education and music lifestyle. H.E.A.R. wants you and your loved ones to enjoy music, and the pleasure of hearing, for a long, long time.

Network works with incarcerated men and women and those released from prison to help them rebuild their lives to avoid recidivism, and become responsible family members as well as productive, stable citizens in their communities. Network in the Prisons sponsors voluntary therapeutic communities within New York State correctional facilities to promote positive individual growth and change, encourage education and skills development, and foster a respectful connection to the larger society. Network in the Community offers therapeutic support and reentry services, both directly and through partnering community providers, individualized to ensure successful reintegration to the community.

The mission of the Sophia Sunshine Foundation is to bring joy and connectivity into the universe through various acts of kindness that empower children experiencing adversity, especially those battling pediatric cancer. Sophia’s love for horses, dogs, dance, music, art, books, golf and tennis brought her a tremendous amount of joy and laughter, even during her most challenging weeks. Through the Sophia Sunshine Foundation, we want to help others experience that joy and heart-mind well-being through activities such as equine therapy, service dog sponsorship and literacy outreach. We also support pediatric cancer research towards a cure for DIPG.

Our mission is to serve individuals and families impacted by addiction, connecting them to the resources they need and removing barriers that prevent them from getting and staying well.Our vision is a community that treats addiction as a chronic condition and those affected with dignity and respect. Navigate Recovery Gwinnett is an authentic grassroots Recovery Community Organization founded on the belief that addiction recovery happens best in community and when all the family members affected get the support they need. We advocate, facilitate, collaborate and encourage recovery!We support people in Emergency Rooms, at SAFE HARBOR, our addiction recovery support center, in jails, in and in treatment. Despite significant reductions across the nation, tobacco use is still the number one cause of preventable death in the United States, killing more than 400,000 people every year. Since being established in 1999, the American Legacy Foundation (Legacy) has developed a comprehensive understanding of the tobacco crisis and the many issues that surround it. Legacy is the nation's largest and most effective independent public health charity dedicated to tobacco use prevention and smoking cessation. Our mission is to build a world where young people reject tobacco and anyone can quit. By giving young people the facts and information they need to reject tobacco and adult smokers the tools they need to quit and stay quit, Legacy is helping people live longer, healthier lives. Legacy employs community intervention and population-based public education strategies to reach current and potential tobacco users, customizing our approach to recognize, respect and address cultural differences.

For more than 25 years, WHEDco has been a leader in creating thriving neighborhoods in the South Bronx. In addition to building beautifully-designed green, affordable homes that serve as a foundation for family stability, WHEDco creates life-changing opportunities for local residents of every age through our research-driven Early Childhood and Youth Education initiatives, which set kids on a path to college; Small Business Development programs, which nurture entrepreneurship and address community needs; Family Support and Counseling services, which connect families to the critical resources they need to succeed; and Arts and Culture programming, which showcases the borough's musical legacy and supports a new generation of artists. ASD currently operates four Special Care Facilities licensed by the Texas Department of Health: The Ewing Center, Revlon Apartments, Hillcrest House, and Spencer Gardens. ASD serves an average of 175 men, women and children in 152 total bedrooms within 125 privately configured units. Seventy-six percent (76%) of the agency's resident population are racial or ethnic minorities, 24 percent were women. One hundred percent (100%) of the people served by ASD are significantly below the federal poverty line and are classified either as low- or very-low income. The agency has provided more than 326,000 person/nights of housing to more than 1,100 individuals and family members living with AIDS. Along with a home and a mutually supportive community environment, residents at each facility are provided with a range of services individually tailored to empower them to cope with the cyclical impact HIV/AIDS has on people who are living with a disease that often compromises their complete independence.
