Afrika Tikkun was founded in 1994 soon after the emergence of Democracy in South Africa. Our visionary founders-- the late Chief Rabbi Cyril Harris and philanthropist and businessman, late Bertie Lubner-- had a vision of focusing on children knowing they represented the future of the country, which inspired the-then President Nelson Mandela to volunteer as our Patron-in-Chief-- an honor that he only bestowed on four organizations during his lifetime. In 2002 he wrote: “Afrika Tikkun demonstrates in a practical and sustainable manner what can be done with limited resources, great commitment and passion. It is my belief that Afrika Tikkun represents the best of what civil society can offer in partnership with Government’s considerable efforts.” For the last 22 years, Afrika Tikkun has worked to redress the consequences of institutionalized oppression in South Africa. Our unique Cradle-to-Career development model enables our 550+ employees to deliver services addressing holistic educational, medical and economic needs of marginalized youth from early infancy through adulthood, inspiring and enabling them to become productive citizens and leaders. To promote the optimal health and well-being of children with special health care needs by providing family-centered, comprehensive and coordinated prevention, intervention and treatment services within a medical home environment.

In 2000, Episcopal priest Bill Rankin and renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Charlie Wilson launched GAIA to increase health equity globally and to bring life-saving treatment to one of the countries most impacted by the AIDS epidemic. Today, with GAIA’s support, Malawi is one of the first African countries to meet UNAIDS 2020 90-90-90 treatment targets, even in the most remote districts with the highest HIV prevalence, where we work. Throughout our history, GAIA has adapted our services to provide compassionate, patient-centered healthcare. We meet the immediate needs of the population by providing community-based health services and health education while also strengthening Malawi's healthcare workforce for the long-term by accelerating health workforce development and promoting equitable deployment of frontline providers. In 2007, GAIA Malawi was formally established as an independent, but closely aligned, entity to the U.S. organization. With its own self-selected Board of Directors and a 100% Malawian staff, GAIA Malawi works closely with GAIA U.S. to design and execute cost-effective program responses to the evolving health needs of Malawi’s rural population. All program interventions are developed with key input from the communities served and executed in partnership with the Government of Malawi, Ministry of Health and Population, and local and international partners. GAIA believes that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, no matter where they live or who they are.

Rise Alliance for Children (formerly WWO) helps transform the lives of vulnerable children, families, and communities through trauma-informed, evidence-based programming. We work to address the unique needs and strengths of children, families and communities in each country, adapting our early childhood education, skills development, and camp programs, to meet their specific needs.

Cutting-edge medicine and advocacy, regardless of ability to pay. It is through this mission we are striving to reach 30 countries and save over 100,000 lives. Some see it as an impossible goal. UAF Legacy Health provides cross-culturally responsive healthcare for LGBTQ+ Utahns and people living with HIV.

Every day nearly 7,000 men, women, and children are infected with HIV. IAVI's mission is to ensure the development of safe, effective, accessible, preventive HIV vaccines for use throughout the world. IAVI is a global not-for-profit, public-private partnership working to accelerate the development of a vaccine to prevent HIV infection and AIDS. IAVI supports a comprehensive approach to HIV and AIDS that balances the expansion and strengthening of existing HIV prevention and treatment programs with targeted investments in new AIDS prevention technologies. As the world's only organization focused solely on the development of an AIDS vaccine, IAVI also works to ensure a future vaccine will be accessible to all who need it.

Global Camps Africa changes the lives of South Africa's vulnerable children and youth by providing HIV/AIDS prevention education and training through high impact residential and day camp experiences and continuing education, equipping young people with the life skills that will support them in becoming safe and productive adults who have hope for the future.

AIDS Service Center NYC (ASCNYC) promotes positive change for New Yorkers seeking health, recovery, and a better future as they navigate life with HIV and other chronic health conditions.

NMAC leads with race to urgently fight for health equity and racial justice to end the HIV epidemic in America. NMAC represents over 3,000 community- and faith-based organizations nationwide. The agency advances its mission by providing minority and minority-serving faith and community-based organizations a variety of capacity building assistance programs, online and classroom-based trainings, printed and electronic resources, grassroots organization and political advocacy. These activities help these agencies deliver HIV/AIDS services more efficiently and effectively, ultimately helping to mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS in underserved and marginalized communities.
