OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois is proud to offer an Almost Home Kids location – one of only three in the nation – in Peoria. Almost Home Kids provides transitional care in a home-like setting for children with complex medical needs, as well as training and respite care for their families. Funded entirely through community donations, Almost Home Kids is a 12-bedroom, 21,000-square-foot home. Almost Home Kids is part of OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization within the OSF Healthcare System, relying on the philanthropic support of the community to make our house a home.

Together, we share knowledge with the world’s hardest-to-reach communities, using audio technology to educate and gather feedback from illiterate and low-literacy populations. Our Talking Book programs allow organizations to customize messages, songs, radio dramas, and information in local languages and measure impact. Amplio partners with global and in-country organizations, businesses, and government agencies that work in various sectors, including health, agriculture, gender equity, humanitarian aid, and more.

Grossmont Hospital Foundation is a not-for-profit, philanthropic organization established to support Sharp Grossmont Hospital and Sharp HospiceCare.
