As a safety-net clinic, St. John Bosco Clinic provides primary and specialty care to those without access to health care. Fox Chase has the oldest and third-largest cancer center support grant from the National Cancer Institute and is the oldest cancer specialty hospital in the nation. In January 2000, Fox Chase opened the nation's first facility devoted to comprehensive cancer prevention research.
